Happy Friday, campers, and Happy Halloween Weekend! πŸ¦‡πŸ«

Tomorrow is the big night! While most of us are trading our hiking boots for neighborhood trick-or-treating this weekend, that doesn't mean we can't bring a little bit of the campground spirit to the holiday.

In fact, we think Halloween candy makes for the absolute best s'mores upgrades. (If you haven't swapped out plain chocolate for a peanut butter cup or a caramel chocolate bar on your s'more yet, you are missing out!)

Whatever your plans are for this weekend, we hope you have a safe, fun, and candy-filled Halloween!

What is the one Halloween candy you are definitely sneaking from the kids' stash this weekend? Let us know below! 🍬

Happy Travel Tuesday, campers! πŸŽƒπŸ‘»

We are in the final countdown to Halloween! There is no denying that the campground is the ultimate setting for all things spooky. Between the rustling leaves in the dark woods, the glowing embers of a dying fire, and the mysterious snaps of twigs out in the trees, it is the perfect place to share a scare.

What is your favorite spooky campground tradition?

A) Telling classic ghost stories around the campfire πŸ”₯

B) Watching a scary movie on the tablet inside the RV 🍿

C) Participating in "Halloween in the Summer" trick-or-treating events at the park 🍬

D) I'm a scaredy-cat, I just want to make s'mores! 🍫

It is officially that time of year. The gear is packed away, the RV is winterized and covered, and suddenly Friday afternoons feel a whole lot different without a truck to load and a cooler to pack!

Who else is already missing the smell of a campfire and the sound of the loons out on the lake? πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ

Happy Friday, Manitoba! πŸŒ…β›Ί

This Friday feels just a little bit different, doesn't it? Without a cooler to pack, a route to plan, or firewood to buy, the weekends suddenly feel a lot quieter.

As most of our family-owned member parks officially close their gates for the winter season, we want to send a massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to every single camper who pitched a tent, parked an RV, or rented a cabin with a MACAP park this year. You are the reason our campground communities are so vibrant and welcoming.

While the camping gear might be going into storage, the memories definitely aren't.

Happy Travel Tuesday, campers! πŸ‚πŸ”§

We hope everyone had an absolutely wonderful and filling Thanksgiving Long Weekend!

For many of us, this past weekend marked the official end of the 2026 camping season. It is always a little bittersweet to pack away the camp chairs and sweep out the trailer one last time, but looking back at all the memories made makes it so worthwhile.

Now comes the necessary chore of the season: winterizing the rig!

Where are you at with your end-of-season duties?

A) Fully winterized, tarped, and dreaming of May 2027 β˜€οΈ

B) Halfway there, but dragging my feet 🐒

C) What winterization? I'm holding out for one last late-October trip! πŸ•οΈ

D) I rent cabins so I don't have to worry about it! 🏑

Happy Friday, campers! Welcome to the very first weekend of October! 🍁πŸ”₯

The air is undeniably crisp, the flannels are out in full force, and we are just one week away from Canadian Thanksgiving!

For many of our campers, this weekend is all about preparation. Whether you are heading out to your seasonal site to rake leaves and start the winterizing process, or you are doing a trial run of your campfire turkey recipe, the campground is the perfect place to spend a chilly autumn weekend.

If you are braving the cool October nights this weekend, remember to pack those extra wool blankets and bring plenty of hot chocolate.

Have a cozy and safe weekend out there, Manitoba! πŸ•οΈβ˜•

Happy Travel Tuesday, campers! πŸšπŸ‚

We are officially at the very end of September, and the Manitoba landscape is showing off! If you haven't been out to the campgrounds in the last week, the transition has been absolutely spectacular.

The tree canopies have turned into a sea of gold and orange, making it one of the most photogenic times of the year to hitch up the trailer or pitch a tent.

With October arriving on Thursday, we are entering the final stretch of the traditional camping season.

Are you squeezing in one last trip for October, or are you officially packed up until spring? Let us know below! πŸ‘‡

Happy Sunday, campers! β˜•πŸ‚

There is a very specific kind of magic on a Sunday morning at the campground, especially in late September. The air is perfectly crisp, the early morning fog is rolling off the lake, and that first cup of coffee by the campfire tastes absolutely unbeatable.

If you are out enjoying a fall camping trip this weekend, we hope you are soaking up every last bit of peace and quiet before it is time to pack up the rig.

How are you spending this beautiful autumn Sunday?

A) Hiking a trail to see the fall colors πŸ₯Ύ

B) Getting one last cast in on the lake 🎣

C) Staying huddled by the fire in a blanket πŸ•οΈ

D) Heading home to unpack the gear πŸš™
