Condolences 💐 to the Eaton Family with the passing of Frank Eaton (80)

He was one of a kind, had a sharp eye for cattle, and I was fortunate to spend his last years of order buying going to sales with him before he retired due to health issues.

Good day cattle producers here is your HLS Yorkton market report for the week ending July 3rd. We had no sale this week so the sales staff took in the local Regional 4-H show and sale. What a great day! It’s awesome to see the abundance of future ranchers there are out there and the showmanship and animal care they demonstrate is exceptional. Every single one of you did an awesome job! On behalf of Heartland Livestock we’d like to congratulate Cassidy Beres and Hannah Hoberg on winning Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Respectively. Great job. Good afternoon cattle producers here is your HLS Yorkton market report on the week ending May 15th. We had a good run for our regular sale yesterday with 686 head for the day.
Next week is a regular sale here in Yorkton with receiving of cattle from 8-8 on Tuesday only. We are also holding our bred cow and cow calf pair sale tomorrow Friday the 15th at 11 am. We’re expecting 200 head for the sale this Friday. If you’re thinking of shipping cattle, trust that Heartland Yorkton is the place to do it.
