Adam Vibert was in action again at the weekend on both the supermotoland KTM Jersey SMR450 and SMR350 bikes. A great weekend with another course record and a surprisingly fast time on the 350. Well done Adam, How long until the 350 beats the 450?

Westmount Hillclimb Report

We only get to race this course one weekend a year, and as 2025 was impacted by weather, I was going in a little blind with setup on the 450. Despite this we started strong, going below the previous motorcycle course record on the first official run. I improved further throughout the day ending with a time of 25.39, 0.44 quicker than the previous best.

I set a time of 25.99 on the 350, which was good enough for 3rd bike overall. This was surprising as the course is much more suited to bigger cc bikes, with a 2nd gear hairpin leading to a long, steep 5th gear straight.

Both bikes were working great and I'm really looking forward to our next events.

Just rebuilt this 2017 fs450 engine. Time for some Putoline SPR+ 5w-50 engine oil to finish the job.
