Another VW EA288 saved from a top end rebuild... The customer complaint once again... Excessive coolant top ups required. We found the coolant pump ready to collapse and throw the timing belt off. A static coolant pump replacement fitted as the variable do often stick causing overheating on these engines along with silicone bag removal from the header tank. 🏁

A productive yet rather hot afternoon setting the start of injection timing up on this BGL marine SDI engine. She sounds fantastic now the Actual and specified 6 Degrees before TDC are set. 🏁

Audi S5 V8 in having a well needed transmission service engine service and the annoying broken coil pack harness connector replacement which was begging to be fixed !. The before and after transmission fluid was it's first change in around 10 years 😳
