🌊 Week 2 at sea for Éric and Skiboo 2: course set across the Atlantic! ⛵

After 11 days and 11 hours at sea, Éric has reached the latitude of Lanzarote, almost 4 days ahead of schedule! 🚀 With Madeira now behind him, he’s heading west toward Guadeloupe, solo, non-stop and 100% under sail.

This week’s highlights:
🤖 an autopilot that never takes a watch (the best crew member!)
💨 surfs over 15 knots and an Excess 11 that’s steady “as if on rails”
😴 polyphasic sleep: rest whenever you can
✉️ 32 envelopes prepared by his family, one to open each day at 1:02 pm

The big crossing is underway, and the Atlantic sunsets are putting on a show 🌅

Everyone has their own Everest ⛵ Want some news from Eric?
Eric left the port of La Rochelle on Sunday, setting out on a great adventure: sailing non-stop to Pointe-à-Pitre aboard his Excess 11, Skiboo 2.
After the emotions of the departure, the boat has already covered more than 1,000 km and is now sailing off the coast of Portugal.
On the agenda for these first few days: an encounter with dolphins 🐬, magnificent sunsets 🌅 and even a record of 170 nautical miles covered in 24 hours!
The first thrills of the crossing are definitely here… and this is only the beginning!
