A MGB born for competition
Our MGB was built in 1964, during the golden era of British sports cars. A true heir to the engineering spirit developed by MG at Abingdon, and inspired by the cars that competed in legendary international events such as Sebring, the Monte Carlo Rally and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it perfectly embodies the character of the great British GTs: lightweight, beautifully balanced, reliable and remarkably efficient.
Prepared and developed over many years for historic racing, this MGB now benefits from an up-to-date Historic Technical Passport (HTP), allowing it to compete in some of the most prestigious historic motorsport events.
Its engine was fully rebuilt approximately 2,500 km ago and delivers outstanding performance while remaining faithful to the mechanical philosophy that made the MGB famous: strength, responsiveness and pure driving pleasure.
Continuously refined throughout its racing career, this car has acquired genuine competition pedigree, with several Tour Auto participations to its name — one of Europe’s most demanding and prestigious historic rallies.
On closed roads as well as on race circuits, it continues to demonstrate the qualities that created the MG legend: precise handling, excellent balance, strong and reliable mechanics, and the remarkable ability to challenge far more powerful cars.
More than just a classic MGB, this is a genuine historic competition car — passionately prepared, proven in major events, and ready to write the next chapter of its racing story.

New In MG B 1964 🏁

More than sixty years after its launch, the MGB is still racing.
On Europe’s most prestigious historic events — including the Tour Auto, Le Mans Classic, Goodwood and Montlhéry — the MGB remains a serious competitor.
Thanks to its exceptional balance, lightweight construction, reliability and remarkably effective chassis, it continues to challenge cars with far greater power.
Properly prepared historic racing MGBs have become extremely competitive machines, often battling successfully against others famous sports cars of the same era.

☀️is there… let’s have the top down

This specific example, registered in 1959, stands out with a beautiful grey exterior paired with a red “Cartier” interior showing an attractive patina. It features the highly desirable Becker Radio option as well as its original hardtop. The car underwent a careful restoration many years ago and has been owned by its current keeper since 2002, after already being cherished by the previous owner since 1995. Its condition is excellent both cosmetically and mechanically, reflecting meticulous maintenance. A substantial file of invoices documents the 50,000 km driven by the current owner. It perfectly captures the charm and elegance of the 190 SL. This example offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a classic, refined, and reliable roadster. It promises graceful and comfortable journeys, true to the spirit of this iconic model.

FOR SALE
A genuine factory-built Group 4 example, this Renault 5 Turbo originates directly from Renault Sport’s competition department and retains the defining characteristics of a works rally car of the period. Its specification includes a Renault Sport engine developing approximately 260–270 horsepower, dry-sump lubrication system, Chausson air-to-water intercooler, specific turbocharger configuration, adjustable De Carbon suspension, and a reinforced Matter chassis. Following its return from the Bandama, the car was retained by Renault Sport before being gifted in 1984 to Jean Ragnotti by Patrick Landon, then head of the rally program. Subsequently restored by the Bozian brothers—long-standing Renault competition partners—it was returned to a configuration faithful to its period appearance. Preserved for many years by Ragnotti himself and later by a private collector, it remains today in the hands of its third owner of the past decade. Nowdays maintained by Michel Crespel it is combining direct works origin, period competition history, and documented provenance, it represents a rare and highly compelling example of Renault’s official rallying heritage.
