Ford Kuga in for diagnosing as the vehicle was low on power, DPF fault on dash and engine light on dash.

We have done diagnostic on the vehicle to confirm the cause of the problems.

We found that the DPF pressure sensor had a mind of its own. The sensor was replaced and regeneration of the DPF was carried out.

Car returned to normal operation, to finish off the job a quick oil and oil filter change. Always change the oil !

“Wheel arches are not necessary to be fitted.”
We disagree, modern vehicles are fitted with a lot of electronic control units internally and externally on vehicles. For example LED headlamps are fitted with control units bolted directly on to the back of the headlamps.

Without the protection of wheel arches, water and other debris from the road goes directly on to the unprotected electrical components.

Cost of wheel arches and other protective plastic is not expensive but can save you a lot of money in the long run. We are talking from years of experience dealing with these problems.

Below is a photo of a flooded control unit for the LED headlamps. The water unfortunately got inside the headlamp leaving the customer with only one solution…. Replace the headlamp unit + headlamp modules.
