We're going for a jolly. It's a great race track.

🏁 It’s officially Race Week again for us as we head up to Knockhill in Scotland for 2 Sprint Races and a 90 minute Endurance race.

We haven’t been here in a very very long time so it’s anyone’s guess how this will play out!

There's a French theme to this and we're going! 🇨🇵🇨🇵

If anyone fancies a convoy, we'll be leaving the workshop at 4pm - otherwise I'm looking for somewhere closer/along the route where we can gather.

General French, Jon will be in the 2cv and I will be in whichever of my C4s is working this week 🥴 it'll be a mix of motorway and A roads.

Here's one for you. It's a long one, but really interesting.

Can you keep a secret?! 🤫

This car has been in to one of the big boys, you know the ones - really expensive, fully trained, know what they're doing.....🫣

It had been to us previously, we suggested it went to a dealer for a software update, we're unable to do that. It came out with the customer being told it needs an engine. It doesn't.

Now make sure you're sitting comfortably.

What happened - they sold an easy job (so you'd think), saying the wetbelt was deteriorating and needed changing - so still charged the customer for the belt change and a top up of two litres of oil. Only they put the engine back together a little bit wrong, couldn't start it, didn't own the problem, told the customer it was fubar and needed an engine.

What we've done - rectified their error.

If you're still reading - this is why we have a queue and we're way busier than we want to be - because,years ago, that big giant got rid of one of their best assets, through no fault of his own.

This one was personal!

Our Charlie made it out to play with his mates at the weekend - for good weather and good company 😎. Maybe we'll do it again next year 😃

There's been some chat on the socials recently, about how rare some of the Citroëns are becoming.

The C4 Coupé was a bit more rare to begin with, but it now appears that this one of mine is the last one with this trim and engine.

A VTS Loeb or Loeb VTS, whichever way round you like it, all the fancy trim bits with the 2 litre 180 petrol engine - as far as we can work out, one of five made for the UK market and now the only one left on the road.

And one of my collection of five coupés 🫣

They're beautiful, handle well and fun.

Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I love these cars 🥰

This Sunday, 31st May, the Worcestershire branch of 2CVGB - The Deux Chevaux Club of Great Britain will be meeting at NT Hanbury Hall .

It was a good turn out last year. If there are any 2cvers or A series drivers (who for strange reasons aren't already members of 2cvGB) who would like to come along, you're more than welcome, just let us know.

Arrive from 10am and stay for as long as you like.

It's looking like the last day of the good weather, so bring a picnic.
