It’s been a busy week at VG HQ, so busy we just haven’t had a minute to spare.

A little snippet of the week, is a custom made radiator for the to keep things cool in this heat 🥵

Custom fabricated brackets and outlets altered to suit the custom engine bay, nice 👌

Coming to a drag strip near you……..

Headhunter is on its way to .

Whilst we’re not here to claim credit as a whole build, we’re thrilled to have been the ones to get this Willys back on the street/strip.

As many will know, the paintwork was previously carried out by , along with the Hemi being built by Billadeau Speed & Automotive. (Block believed to have come from Slick Willys)

Here at VGSS, we’ve carried out many jobs, but below is a quick summary.

Make sure you catch up with Steve up at the pod!

▪️spindle conversion for 5 stud Ford.
▪️New discs brakes, including dual circuit master cylinder, along a new brake and fuel lines throughout.
▪️New custom made radiator, including plenum set up for dual carburettor manifold to then mount the Hilborn scoop.
▪️Custom made headers and stainless steel exhaust along with electric cut outs.
▪️New Crager SS’s

It’s always about the finer details.

This former ambulance soon to be trade vehicle, warranted more than just flat glass held into a fixed position.
So, we decided to fabricate, custom samba style windshield frames in brass, finished off with samba style stays and levers. We think this looks sweet as 👌

If you are coming along to see us at Retro Rides Weekender, then you will be lucky enough to see this epic trio together!
We will be bringing our bossman's 1964 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt replica along (follow for more!), as well as the chassis and engine for the epic Cobra homage we are building, and the 1940's Ford 1/2 Ton with 700bhp/700lb ft 🤩
Make sure you come and have a nose, and maybe pick up some merch whilst you're there... 😜

What better way to spend a Bank holiday than drooling over this gorgeous 1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster?
Today, we have another instalment for you from our good friend and photographer, RedDot Media.
The Unhinged Crew here at VGSS were entrusted with the task of swapping out the not-so-original 327 from this car and installing a hot 383 crate motor from Blueprint - and that is what we did! We have also done a couple of trick mods, like installing a new, more efficient fan and radiator; made up new top and bottom hoses for the rad; and converted the rear lamps to LEDs.
We will be sorry to see this beauty go, but her ecstatic owner will have her back soon to get back on the show circuit.
