This is a big heads up! We need a break!

For the first two weeks of August there will be significant disruption to normal service. I will be on holiday the first week. For week 2; Jon will be off. . Orders will ship out slower than normal and there will be very limited telephone and email response.

If you have some more urgent projects looming please plan in advance and get your order in sooner rather than later as we are not going to be able to respond fast for last minute orders.

Yo!! Look at this Renault part number!!

After the fiasco of a month back, Renault have now brought back what I am going to call Euro spec Type D coolant. This has the 45% anti corrosion inhibitor ratio that is required on all Renault petrol and diesel engines. This is now only available in 5L bottles. We've had our first stock and now we can relax that we can get such a basic item again.

Hey folks!

We thought due to the sun being out you lot were busy doing better things than call us. Turns out we are having a few technical issues.

DUE TO NEW INFORMATION as of June 2026., we are not able to recommend any Renault pre-mix coolant for ICE engines. We are moving to aftermarket as my initial statement was based on poor information from Renault regarding the situation.

From my research the issue looks to be the more modern formula of Type E has less corrosion inhibitors than old Type D (25% vs 44.5%). New Renault type D is not suited for European ICE engines. Renault is supplying dealers with old type D for servicing only. This seems to be an issue with modern coolant formulas as newer engines dont seem to have the manufacturer requirement for high concentration of inhibitors.

Renault have reverted their coolant recommendation. Type-D is back for use on all petrol and diesel engines with the Type-E only for EV models. We'd recommend if you are coming up to a service and are currently running Type-E to do a coolant flush back to the Type D.

Our Grams exhaust mounts are back in stock. Now with ears!!

Did you want your engine mount to be mans best friend as well as hold your exhaust? If so we've made this for you.

After some customer feedback we've added some retaining ears to make sure the exhaust mount stays in place even if your engine mounts need changing and your engine bangs against your subframe as you accelerate.
