What started as a small family garage in Pfaffenhausen, Germany in 1939 grew into one of the most respected names in performance cars. Under Alois Ruf Jr., the company began modifying and reengineering Porsches, eventually earning official recognition as an independent manufacturer in 1981. RUF became world-famous with the 1987 CTR “Yellowbird,” a car that redefined performance and remains an icon today. Blending Porsche heritage with obsessive engineering, RUF continues to build some of the most unique and capable sports cars in the world.
