🚀 PDpower tuning software — available now!

For tuning businesses and experienced DIY tuners who make their own maps, work on their own cars or prepare files for customers.

Both apps are EARLY RELEASES and still in active development. Everyone can view them, but an active PDpower Trade membership is required to purchase.

💻 EDC15P SWITCHABLE MAP CODER

Add switchable coding to supported 1.4–1.9 TDI files, or carry out supported VIN swaps to reuse an existing switchable file on another matching, compatible ECU.

✅ VERIFIED patches have been tested and confirmed working on cars for their supported ECU/software combination.

🧪 Eligible unverified patches are FREE TO TEST. You can test further eligible patches after submitting vehicle-test feedback for your current one. There is only ONE PENDING TEST AT A TIME — this is not a one-test-per-account limit.

Unverified patches remain experimental until vehicle testing and review are complete.

A lower upfront cost for occasional use. Credits are bought separately; the £30 licence does not include credits.

• 2 credits / £30 for a supported new switchable file.
• 1 credit / £15 for a supported VIN swap to reuse the same existing switchable file on another matching, compatible ECU.

✅ Good for occasional jobs and keeping your initial spend down.
⚠️ Each paid job uses credits, so costs add up with regular use.

The credit route will keep its current per-job pricing when the Pro price increases.

🔹 PROFESSIONAL BUNDLE — £179 EARLY-RELEASE PRICE

Includes the program, with UNLIMITED supported switchable coding and VIN changes. No separate £30 program purchase or credits needed for supported app jobs.

✅ Better value for regular work.
✅ No per-job credit cost for supported app jobs.
✅ At current prices, Pro costs less than the £30 standard licence plus five new-file jobs (£180).

⚠️ Higher upfront cost, and unlimited use still depends on file compatibility. Custom coding is charged separately.

A switchable-map job you charge at £200+, or a mobile job at £300+, could cover the current £179 Pro licence price before your other business costs.

Both licences cover one approved PC and require internet for job authorisation. The app prepares coding — it does not create your power maps or read/write the ECU for you.

For supported 512 KiB 1.4 and 1.9 TDI EDC15 PD files.

Scramble your prepared BIN to make your map work harder to identify, while retaining a private restoration backup for future editing.

✅ One-time app purchase — NO per-file credits.
✅ Useful for businesses and experienced tuners preparing their own files.
✅ Restore existing private backups offline.

The Scrambler has worked on 100% of the vehicles tested by us so far. This applies only to the vehicles and ECU/software combinations tested to date — it is NOT a guarantee for every car or file.

⚠️ It is still in early development. Some maps may remain detectable, and scrambling is not complete protection against reverse engineering.

These tools require suitable equipment and ECU knowledge, whether you are working on your own car or a customer’s.

• Always keep verified original flash and EEPROM backups.
• Keep Scrambler private keys and restoration backups safely stored.
• You MUST have the knowledge, tools and access to READ, WRITE AND RECOVER THE ECU ON THE BENCH if needed.
• Independently verify prepared files and check/correct checksums using the correct procedure for your ECU and tool.
• When tools such as MPPS ask or offer checksum correction, follow the correct procedure.
• A checksum pass alone does not guarantee compatibility or a successful write.

🔧 We’ve got a nice little group testing the PDpower Switchable Map Coder, and we’re looking for a few more active testers.

Ideally, we’re after people with access to several cars or a customer base who are happy to help test, rather than just one personal car. Being able to edit your own maps is not essential but to get it fully free you'd make the maps yourself.

✅ Files on the app listed as still needing testing get FREE switchable coding. Once confirmed working, you keep that switchable file and can finish the maps yourself.

Can test the switching but can’t map it yourself? We can offer discounted map work to finish it off, with the switchable coding free.

You’ll need:
• Suitable cars for testing in the vehicle, not just on the bench.
• The tools and knowledge to read, write and recover the ECU, with full backups.
• Willingness to report your results through the app.
• A free account on our website.

⚠️ This is testing, so you must understand and accept the risks. Free coding does not mean the file is already verified working.

🔥 312BHP & 402 FT-LBS (545NM) AND WE’RE NOT FINISHED YET! 🔥

Another video sent in from one of our customers running a PDpower remote custom tune on his seriously modified PD TDI! 💪💨

He’s also recently been helping us test our brand-new PDpower Switchable Map Coder, which is still in development and has been showing some very promising results so far! 👨‍💻

We’re now making a few more tweaks to get all 3 maps dialled in:

🟢 Map 1 – ECO: A cleaner, more economical setup for everyday driving.

🟠 Map 2 – POWER: A strong, responsive power map with a good balance of performance and drivability.

🔴 Map 3 – FULL SEND: All guns blazing! 🚀 Seeing if we can squeeze even more out of the setup while keeping things within safe limits!

📢 PDpower Switchable Map Coder update — 3 tester spaces available!

The latest update makes testing, feedback and approvals clearer. Approval changes now sync online without another download for coding already included in the program.

Some previously invited testers haven’t been active or submitted feedback, so their testing access will be revoked and those spaces offered to new testers.

🚗 We need people with access to cars using the ECU/software versions below. Testing must be completed on the car, not just on a bench, with feedback submitted through the app.

What you get:
• Free program access during agreed testing.
• Complete the testing and feedback, and keep the program and licence free, including the final release.
• If the switchable coding is verified working on your car, you get to keep that coded file for free. Make your own tunes for its map slots, or have PDpower make the maps at our normal tuning price, with no extra switchable-coding charge.
• Afterwards, buy credits for supported verified jobs: £15 for a VIN change or £30 for new switchable coding.

Some ECU/software versions have both verified and unverified coding options. Only the exact options marked “Free customer test” qualify. Matching ECU/SG numbers alone do not guarantee compatibility; the app must also recognise the file’s coding and layout.

⚠️ These are unverified test options, not guaranteed working coding. Keep verified full flash and EEPROM backups, and have suitable read/write tools, recovery equipment and the knowledge to recover the ECU if needed. Use the ECU the file was read from, in its original vehicle. The program prepares coding; it does not flash the ECU or create power tunes.

Have any of these cars available to test? Comment below with the car, ECU number and SG version, and confirm that you understand and accept the testing risks and can recover the ECU if necessary.

🔀 Our Switchable Map Coder is currently in testing, with good results so far. We’re still looking for people to try FREE switchable test files on currently supported setups. If you can flash the ECU yourself, there’s no charge to take part — drop us a message with your ECU details.

Tests so far have been successful on a small number of cars using different switching methods. This is encouraging, but doesn’t guarantee every file or vehicle will work.

🔧 PDpower software development update

There have been a few updates to the switchable coder app, so anyone currently testing it, please make sure you accept the update when prompted.

If you’re running a really old version, you may need to download the latest version from the website first—or just contact me and I’ll help you get sorted 👍

Also in the works is the PDpower File Scrambler for 1.4 and 1.9 TDI EDC15 files.

As these older ECUs become more accessible and easier to tune, protecting your work is becoming increasingly important. This tool is being developed to make it harder for others to copy your maps and pass them off as their own, or alter your work and then blame the original tuner.

You’ll still be able to restore your own saved master for future editing.

The scrambler is also in testing and will be available for sale once compatibility and operation have been verified for the supported versions.

🚨 5 MORE TESTER SLOTS AVAILABLE 🚨

We’re giving away another 5 tester slots for our new Switchable Map Coder application for Windows devices.

We’re mainly looking for people who map files themselves, either DIY or as a business, or who have a few cars available to test it on. You must know how to properly read and write an ECU, and how to recover it if something goes wrong.

✅ All files marked “test pending” are FREE to code during testing.

✅ Once testing is complete and the application is finished, you can keep your licence for the credits-based version for FREE to use in future. Credits for coding are purchased separately.

✅ You can also upgrade to Pro for unlimited use with a one-time payment. Prices will go up as development progresses, so it’s a good time to get involved while it’s still in early development.

We’ve already had successful tests with users, but only on a couple of files so far. We’re looking for more testers to help check a wider range of files and vehicles.

📝 You’ll need to submit feedback through the app when testing files. It will ask you a few questions about the file and how the testing went. We’d also like you to report any app bugs or issues you find and share suggestions for improving the application.

🔧 PDpower Switchable Map Coder: testers wanted

We’re looking for people to test supported EDC15P switchable coding before the full launch.

Coding marked **Customer testing** will be free to prepare, with no credits used. You’ll need to report how that file worked before preparing another free test file.

Testers will receive the app licence free and stay on the credit top-up system when it goes live. That means you keep the app, then buy credits for future jobs.

**Planned launch prices:**
• App licence: £30, free for participating testers
• Credits: £15 each
• Change VIN on an existing program-made switchable: 1 credit (£15)
• Fresh supported switchable coding: 2 credits (£30)
• Custom coding for an unsupported file: 3 credits (£45)
• Pro: £179, unlimited supported app jobs; custom coding £32.50

Any licence holder can also request future file support through the free waiting list.

This adds switchable coding, not a bespoke power tune. You can use your own suitable maps, or we can quote for making them separately.

⚠️ Test coding is not yet confirmed working on the ECU. Keep full flash and EEPROM backups, and only take part if you have the tools and skills to read, write and recover the ECU if something goes wrong.

🚀 PDpower Automated Switchable Maps Tool – Development Update

We’ve been working on a new automated coding tool for EDC15 PD switchable maps, designed to make creating and coding switchable-map files considerably quicker and easier.

The system is currently still in the testing and development stage, but testing so far has been successful ✅

This is aimed especially at customers, tuners and businesses who already create their own tuned files, but currently have to spend the extra time coding switchable maps themselves or pay somebody else to do the switchable coding for them.

💰 If you already make your own files, this could save you a considerable amount of time and money.

Instead of sending files away, waiting for them to be coded and paying someone each time, the aim is to let you upload your own file and have the switchable-map coding handled automatically.

For businesses doing multiple files, those savings can quickly add up — while also allowing you to keep more of the work in-house and get files completed quicker for your own customers.

The plan is to offer different ways of accessing the system:

⚡ Credits – ideal for occasional users who only need to code switchable files now and again.

🔥 Pro access – aimed at regular users, tuners and businesses who will be using the system much more frequently and want better value for higher usage.

There’s still further development and testing taking place, and features, credit usage and final pricing may change before release while we work out the best setup.

Testing so far has been very successful, and we’ll continue running more files and different configurations through the system before the full release. 👀

The goal is simple — make switchable-map coding faster, cheaper and easier, especially for people already capable of creating their own tuned files.
