This Range Rover sport was in this week for a high voltage battery replacement.

After replacing the battery the vin was unable to be relearned in the BECM using topix, so we opted for a more direct approach and removed the control unit and changed the vin direct in memory via jtag.

Last piece of the puzzle was a high voltage isolation DTC, this was because the pyrotechnic isolator supplied with the battery was blown from the donor vehicle.

Replaced and vehicle operating in battery only mode.

This Audi Q2 was in this week for a host of strange faults.

Customer would report they would be driving along and the vehicle would cut out randomly, then fail to start.

We had the vehicle over a week and the fault wouldn’t present itself until today, we identified that the R5 relay that supplies both ABS and ECM had a significant voltage drop from its 7.5amp fuse supply, we traced the loom and found it had almost snapped and was green.

Repaired and back on the road, the dealer had already thrown the parts cannon at this one with a brand new ECM!

This Vivaro-B has been in our workshop this week on behalf of a local garage.

The vehicle was suffering from limp mode among a few other DTCs for oil pressure control.

Using OE diagrams we quickly spotted the shared supply was missing traced back to a simple blown fuse.

The vehicle however now, free of DTCs was still in limp.

We data logged the vehicles boost actual vs demand and spotted a huge difference, a smoke test provided the answers, the vehicle has previously had a software-only EGR delete and has partially worked its way open causing a huge boost leak.

Vehicles EGR blanked and back on the road 🔧

The REM had failed, we fitted and coded a customer supplied brand new part and fixed the issue.
