In these vehicles, the AC system does much more than just cool the cabin; it is often the primary life-support system for the vehicle's most expensive component: the battery.

Here are the key benefits of a properly maintained AC system for EVs and Hybrids:

Heat is the number one enemy of lithium-ion batteries.

• A healthy AC system keeps the battery within its optimal operating temperature.
