Congratulations to Natalie B from Caversham on an absolutely flawless pass at the Reading Driving Test Centre — zero minor faults. A perfect score!
A Perfect Drive — Natalie’s Faultless Test Result
We are absolutely thrilled to share this one. Natalie B from Caversham walked into the Reading Driving Test Centre yesterday and walked out with a full driving licence — and not a single fault on the sheet. Zero. Clean. Perfect.

A zero-fault pass is one of the rarest and most impressive results a learner driver can achieve, and Natalie has every right to be incredibly proud. It’s not just a pass — it’s a statement of just how thoroughly prepared, confident, and skilled she was on test day.

Huge congratulations from instructor Joe Gomez and everyone at Blue Driving School Reading!

What a Zero-Fault Pass Really Means
To pass the UK practical driving test, a candidate must accumulate no more than 15 driver (minor) faults and receive zero serious or dangerous faults. Achieving a completely clean test — with no faults of any kind — places Natalie in an exceptionally small and elite group of drivers.

It means that from the moment she pulled away to the moment she returned to the test centre, not a single moment of her drive gave the examiner any cause for concern. Every observation, every manoeuvre, every decision — executed to the standard of a safe, competent, and fully independent driver.

That is genuinely extraordinary.

The Instructor Behind the Result — Joe Gomez, Blue Driving School, Reading
Natalie’s perfect score is a testament to the outstanding tuition she received from Joe Gomez, Blue Driving School’s highly regarded driving instructor based in Reading.

Joe’s approach to teaching goes far beyond simply coaching pupils through the test. He builds real, lasting road skills — the kind that produce results like Natalie’s. A zero-fault pass doesn’t happen without meticulous preparation, a pupil who listens and applies herself, and an instructor who knows exactly how to bring the best out of every learner.

If you’re looking for a driving instructor in Reading, Caversham, or the surrounding area, Joe Gomez at Blue Driving School is the name to know.

Congratulations to Seamus D from Windsor on a near-perfect first-time pass at the Uxbridge Driving Test Centre — just one driving fault on the entire test!

A Near-Perfect First-Time Pass — Seamus’s Outstanding Result
What a way to start the day! Seamus D from Windsor has passed his practical driving test at the Uxbridge Driving Test Centre this morning — first attempt, one driving fault. That’s it.

A first-time pass is always cause for celebration, but to combine it with a score of just one driving fault elevates this result to something really special. It’s the kind of performance that reflects total preparation, genuine confidence, and a driver who was absolutely ready for everything the examiner could throw at him.

Huge congratulations to Seamus from instructor Andy Shrimpton and everyone at Blue Driving School!

What the Test Involved — Forward Bay Park & Sat Nav Independent Drive
Seamus’s test at Uxbridge Driving Test Centre included two elements that really put a learner’s skills to the test:

Manoeuvre — Forward Bay Park
Seamus was asked to carry out a forward bay park — driving forward into a marked bay and then reversing out under full control. Accuracy, smooth steering, and all-round observation are all assessed, and Seamus executed it confidently.

Independent Driving — Following Sat Nav
For the independent driving section, Seamus followed directions from a sat nav — navigating through Uxbridge’s roads without turn-by-turn prompting from the examiner. This section is designed to replicate real-world driving conditions, and Seamus handled it with exactly the kind of composure you’d want to see.

Two demanding elements. One minor fault across the whole test. Absolutely superb.

The Instructor Behind the Result — Andy Shrimpton, Blue Driving School, Windsor
Seamus’s brilliant result is a direct reflection of the high-quality tuition delivered by Andy Shrimpton, Blue Driving School’s highly experienced driving instructor based in Windsor.

Andy brings a calm, structured, and thorough approach to every pupil he teaches — preparing learners not just to pass the test, but to become genuinely skilled, safe, and confident drivers. Results like Seamus’s are a regular feature of Andy’s record, and they don’t happen by accident.

If you’re looking for a driving instructor in Windsor or the surrounding area, Andy Shrimpton at Blue Driving School is ready to help you on your journey.

Congratulations to Maya on this well-deserved success, and thank you to driving instructor Damien Burke for his dedicated tuition and support in helping her achieve this milestone.”

Congratulations, Maya
A huge well done to Maya from Frome, Somerset, who passed her driving test in Trowbridge, Wiltshire with only a few minor faults! Maya took her test during a busy time of day and in sweltering hot weather — conditions that would test any learner driver — but she stayed calm and focused throughout. The air con was on all the way around the test route.

Maya — Trowbridge, Wiltshire Test Centre

“I’m delighted to share that Maya, one of our learner drivers from Frome, Somerset, has successfully passed her driving test at the Trowbridge test centre, achieving a strong result with only a small number of minor faults.

Maya’s test took place during a particularly busy period at the test centre and in very hot weather conditions — factors that can add extra pressure for any candidate. Despite this, she demonstrated excellent composure, control, and road awareness throughout.

Congratulations to Joice from Ilminster, Somerset, on passing his driving test at the first attempt at the Yeovil Driving Test Centre — with just a few minor faults on a busy Monday morning test!

A Brilliant First-Time Pass — Joice’s Yeovil Test Result
There’s no better way to start the week than with a first-time pass, and Joice from Ilminster did exactly that today at the Yeovil Driving Test Centre. Despite testing on a particularly busy Monday morning — with all the extra traffic and pressure that can bring — Joice kept his composure throughout and came away with a well-deserved pass, finishing with just a few minor faults.

A first-time pass on a busy test day is a genuine achievement, and it’s a brilliant reflection of the hard work Joice put in throughout his lessons with Blue School of Motoring instructor Tony Cross.

What the Test Involved — Hill Start, Park on the Right & Sat Nav
Joice’s test at Yeovil Driving Test Centre covered a strong mix of the skills every confident driver needs:

Hill Start
A hill start requires smooth coordination of the clutch, accelerator, and handbrake to move off safely on an incline without rolling back. It’s a manoeuvre that catches many learners off guard under test pressure, but Joice handled it with confidence.

Park on the Right
Pulling up, parking on the right-hand side of the road, and then safely rejoining traffic is one of the trickier elements of the test, requiring excellent all-round observation and judgement of oncoming traffic. Joice executed this with real composure.

Sat Nav — Independent Driving
For the independent driving section, Joice was asked to follow directions from a sat nav — testing his ability to navigate, plan ahead, and make confident driving decisions with minimal guidance from the examiner. A skill that mirrors exactly the kind of independent driving he’ll be doing for years to come.

Three demanding elements, on a busy Monday morning test, and Joice came through with flying colours.

A Message from Your Instructor
“Congratulations Joice from Ilminster who passed his driving test at the first attempt in Yeovil today with just a few minor faults. On a very busy Monday morning test Joice was asked to carry out a hill start, park on the right and use Sat Nav for the independent element of the test. Well done from Tony Cross your driving instructor and all the team at Blue School of Motoring.”

A Near-Perfect Drive — Lucienne’s Outstanding Test Result
Some test results stick in the memory, and Lucienne’s pass at the Chertsey Driving Test Centre is exactly that kind of result. Just one minor fault across the entire test — a performance that puts Lucienne firmly among the standout pupils we’ve had the pleasure of teaching.

This brilliant result is a direct reflection of Lucienne’s hard work and dedication throughout the learning process, paired with the excellent, structured tuition provided by Blue Driving School instructor Pat Doran.

From everyone at Blue Driving School — huge congratulations, Lucienne. What a drive!

What a One-Minor-Fault Pass Really Means
To pass the UK practical driving test, a candidate must score no more than 15 driver (minor) faults and zero serious or dangerous faults. Finishing a test with just a single minor fault is an exceptional result — it shows consistently strong observation, smooth vehicle control, confident decision-making, and very few moments where the examiner had any cause for concern at all.

A result like Lucienne’s doesn’t happen by chance. It’s the product of thorough preparation, real road experience, and an instructor who knows exactly how to get a learner test-ready.

The Instructor Behind the Result — Pat Doran, Blue Driving School
Lucienne’s success on test day is testament to the quality of instruction delivered by Pat Doran, one of Blue Driving School’s experienced and highly regarded driving instructors covering the Chertsey area.

Pat’s teaching style focuses on building genuine confidence and real-world driving competence — not simply rehearsing routes or memorising manoeuvres. The result speaks for itself: a pupil who walked into the Chertsey Driving Test Centre fully prepared and walked out with a licence and barely a mark against her name.

If you’re searching for a driving instructor in Chertsey, Surrey, Pat Doran and the team at Blue Driving School are ready to help you achieve the same kind of result.

Congratulations to Hayden on a confident, controlled first-time pass at the Trowbridge Driving Test Centre — a result that truly reflects the progress made throughout his lessons.

A Solid First-Time Pass — Hayden’s Trowbridge Test Result
There’s something special about a first-time pass, and Hayden’s result at the Trowbridge Driving Test Centre was everything a driving instructor hopes to see from a pupil — composed, confident, and thoroughly deserved.

The route Hayden was given on test day took in a number of the faster roads around the outskirts of Trowbridge — the kind of driving that really separates a well-prepared learner from the rest. Faster roads demand confident speed management, smooth positioning, and sharp hazard awareness, and Hayden handled every mile of it with real assurance. Topping off an already impressive drive, Hayden finished the test with a beautifully executed reverse bay park back at the test centre — the perfect way to close out a great test.

This is a first-time pass to be genuinely proud of.

The Route — Faster Roads and Real-World Driving Around Trowbridge

The Trowbridge Driving Test Centre serves one of the most varied test areas in Wiltshire. Examiners regularly take routes that venture out from the town centre onto the faster A-roads and ring road sections on the outskirts — roads that connect Trowbridge to surrounding towns like Westbury, Melksham, Bradford-on-Avon, and beyond.

These roads test a candidate’s ability to:

Build and maintain appropriate speed on faster, open roads
Follow road signs independently and make confident navigational decisions
Anticipate and respond to hazards in higher-speed environments
Transition smoothly between different road types and speed limits

Hayden handled all of it confidently — a sign of thorough, well-rounded preparation.

Manoeuvre — Reverse Bay Park at the Test Centre

To finish the test, Hayden was asked to complete a reverse bay park at the test centre itself — one of the four possible manoeuvres on the UK practical driving test. Accuracy, controlled use of the clutch and steering, and all-round observation are all assessed, and Hayden’s ex*****on was described as really well done. A strong manoeuvre at the end of a test is a great confidence marker, and Hayden delivered.

A Message from Your Instructor

“Congratulations, Hayden — a very solid first-time pass in Trowbridge. The route took in a number of faster roads around the outskirts of town, which you handled confidently while following the signs. To top it off, you finished with a really well-executed reverse bay park back at the test centre. It has been such a pleasure having you in the car and seeing the progress you have made along the way. Everyone at Blue School of Motoring joins me in wishing you many happy, safe, and enjoyable miles ahead.”

— Your Instructor Nick Beaven

Congratulations to Charity N on achieving a flawless pass at the Chertsey Driving Test Centre — zero driver faults, zero serious faults. Absolutely perfect.
A Faultless Drive — Charity’s Remarkable Test Result
Some passes are good. Some passes are great. And then there’s what Charity N did yesterday at the Chertsey Driving Test Centre — a completely clean sheet. Not a single fault marked. Zero. Nil. Nothing. Nada.

This is one of those results that even the most experienced driving instructors don’t see every day, and it’s a testament to both Charity’s talent and dedication as a learner driver, and to the exceptional tuition delivered by Blue Driving School instructor Andy Shrimpton.

From everyone at Blue Driving School — this is absolutely brilliant, Charity. What a drive!

How the Test Went — Independent Driving & Forward Bay Park
Charity’s test at Chertsey Driving Test Centre included two elements that really put a driver’s skills to the test:

Independent Drive — Following Road Signs
For the independent driving section, Charity was asked to follow road signs — navigating without turn-by-turn instruction from the examiner, relying entirely on her own observation, hazard awareness, and decision-making. This section is designed to assess whether a driver can handle real-world conditions independently, and Charity handled it with complete composure.

The manoeuvre on Charity’s test was the forward bay park — driving forward into a marked bay and reversing out safely and under control. Accuracy, observation, and smooth control are all assessed during this manoeuvre, and Charity executed it to perfection.

Two challenging elements. Zero faults on either. Extraordinary.

The Instructor Behind the Result — Andy Shrimpton, Blue Driving School
