🏍️ Two sets of motorcycle wheels brought back to life! 🤍✨

These two sets of motorcycle wheels came to us for a complete refurbishment, with the customer choosing a stunning OEM+ style pearlescent white finish.

Refurbishing motorcycle wheels isn’t just about appearance—it’s about preserving every critical mounting surface and ensuring they’re ready to bolt straight back onto the bike.

Our process included:

✔️ Chemically acid stripped
✔️ Carefully media blasted, with all bearing recesses, hub bores and critical mating faces protected throughout preparation
✔️ Cold coated in high-gloss white
✔️ Partial baked before allowing the wheels to cool naturally
✔️ Finished in a beautiful pearlescent lacquer for that subtle shimmer in the sunlight
✔️ Tyres professionally refitted and balanced

One thing we’re particularly proud of is the attention to detail that most people never see.

Rather than using masking tape during the powder coating process, we carefully clean and vacuum every bearing recess, hub bore, threaded hole and mating face throughout each stage. This leaves the surfaces completely free from powder build-up, eliminates hard paint edges and ensures every component fits exactly as the manufacturer intended.

It takes more time and care, but that’s the standard we set for every wheel that leaves WILBOWORX.

The end result is a factory-fresh finish that’s not only built to last, but engineered to fit perfectly.

Something a little different for this Mercedes C63 S AMG. 🔥

The owner had seen a set of wheels we refurbished a few years ago and wanted us to recreate that same finish.

After repairing the kerb damage with aluminium TIG welding, each wheel was fully prepared before being refinished in our signature shadow chrome centres, fading into gloss black barrels, then sealed with a durable high-gloss acrylic clear coat.

A subtle finish that completely transforms the look of the car. 👌

Porsche Macan in with us for a full alloy wheel refurbishment 🔥

These wheels had suffered from heavy kerb damage, with some areas requiring aluminium TIG welding to rebuild the damaged sections before being carefully reshaped back to their original profile.

✅Fully chemically stripped
✅Shot blasted back to bare alloy
✅Aluminium TIG weld repairs carried out

✅Powder coated in black primer
✅Porsche Neodymium water-based colour applied
✅Finished in Freilacke satin powder lacquer for a durable OEM-style finish

✨ Audi S4 Diamond Cut Alloy Wheel Refurbishment ✨

As with many diamond cut wheels, these Audi S4 alloys had begun to suffer from corrosion creeping beneath the original lacquer, causing the finish to deteriorate.

The wheels were fully stripped in our acid tanks before being shot blasted through our new automatic blasting system, providing a clean and uniform surface ready for coating.

Each wheel was then powder coated in Dark Anthracite before being transported to our friends at Peak Alloy Refurbishment, Dundee, where the faces were precision machined on their diamond cutting lathe.

Once back with us, the wheels received our gloss clear acrylic powder lacquer, providing exceptional clarity, durability and long-term protection against the elements.

Sometimes less is more. 🛞✨

This classic set of ATS alloys came to us looking tired and in need of some attention. Unfortunately forgot to take some before photos, but they were the usual black with corroded diamond cut faces…

The wheels were chemically stripped, shot blasted, carefully prepared and refinished in our German fine silver before being protected with our durable acrylic powder lacquer.

No wild colours.
No gimmicks.
Just a clean, period-correct finish that suits these wheels perfectly. 👌

As always, every wheel is thoroughly prepared before coating to ensure a finish that not only looks fantastic but is built to last.

And of course, quality control was overseen by Scar. 🐶🤣

Trying to source one is a bit of a nightmare. Been in a few of gas and plumbing stores but it’s not something they have unfortunately…

🐾 Quality control manager Scar has signed these ones off! 🐾

These Ford Puma ST alloys came in suffering from the usual diamond cut corrosion and lacquer failure around the outer edges.

✅ Chemically stripped
✅ Shot blasted
✅ Coated in Ford Magnetite
✅ Diamond cut machined face
✅ Finished in our satin lacquer for a factory-style finish with added durability

The satin lacquer really complements the Ford Magnetite, giving these wheels a clean OEM+ appearance while bringing them back to showroom condition.

And most importantly… Scar carried out the final quality control inspection and confirmed there were no dust particles, no dog hairs, and no treats hidden inside the barrels. His smile says it all. 🐶

Get your wheels into us before they end up this bad and costing you more to repair 🥲

Nissan Juke in for alloy wheel refurbishment after suffering from severe corrosion causing constant air loss around the tyre bead… 🛞

These wheels had been left for so long that the corrosion had heavily eaten into the alloy, leaving deep pitting throughout the faces and bead seats. After acid stripping and shot blasting to remove all the rot and oxidation, we had to apply a high build primer to smooth out the damaged areas before refinishing.

Finished in a fresh dark anthracite with our durable acrylic lacquer for maximum protection and clarity ✨

Tyres refitted and balanced, with black stealth weights👌🏼

⚡️ BREMBO CALIPER REFURBISHMENT ⚡️

Had these Brembo brake calipers in for a full refurbishment finished in Porsche Neodymium with Brembo decals lacquered over to permanently seal them in 👌🏼

A lot of people don’t realise the amount of preparation and attention to detail that goes into powder coating properly… until they’ve had work done elsewhere and run into problems afterwards.

We regularly see parts returned covered in powder where it shouldn’t be — threads filled needing tapped back out, mating faces coated over, edges with excessive build up needing sanded back, and critical areas masked poorly or not at all.

The time spent on preparation and masking is just as important as the finish itself, and it’s something we never cut corners on.

These calipers were fully stripped and carefully prepared before coating:

✔️ Black powder coat primer
✔️ Porsche Neodymium water base colour
✔️ Super durable acrylic powder lacquer

As always, attention to detail is everything:

✅ All threads kept completely free from powder/paint
✅ Piston bores masked and kept perfectly clean
✅ Mating faces masked correctly
✅ Decals sealed beneath lacquer for durability and longevity

🔥 MINI JCW wheels brought back to life… and these came out unreal. 🔥

These John Cooper Works alloys came in tired,dull and just started corroding… , this customer contacted us and booked in before they got any worse, this kept costs to a minimum as there was no extra blasting charges/high build primer etc etc👌🏼
