Your Local Mechanic is expanding, and we are looking for a reliable, skilled individual to join the team on a part-time basis.

What the role involves:

Collecting customers’ cars and parts.

Travelling to customers’ houses to run diagnostics.

Providing friendly, professional face-to-face customer service.

Requirements:

Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic experience.

A valid, clean driving licence.

Your own set of tools.

Owning a van is a major plus, though not strictly required!

From a snapped belt to a fresh start! 🔧

This VW Up! came in after a water pump belt failure caused severe overheating, resulting in a blown head gasket.

We got straight to work: the cylinder head was removed and skimmed to perfection, and a fresh head gasket was installed.

While everything was stripped down, we also carried out a full major service, along with a brand-new timing belt and water pump assembly to reset the clock on this engine’s reliability.
