This Ford KA needed the front bumper removed just to gain access to replace the front lower arms. Not every car is designed with easy access in mind, and sometimes what seems like a simple job can involve a lot more labour behind the scenes.

You’d think changing a radiator would be a quick job… until you realise half the car has to come apart first 😅

The radiator plays a huge role in keeping your engine cool by circulating coolant and helping prevent overheating. If it starts leaking or becomes blocked, it can quickly lead to bigger (and more expensive) engine problems.

Modern cars are packed tighter than ever, which means what sounds like a simple repair can involve removing bumpers, trims, panels and plenty of other parts just to get access.

This one’s turned into an “all hands on deck” Friday afternoon job, with the team pulling together to get it finished before closing time.

Safe to say everyone’s got one eye on the toolbox… and the other on the pub 👀

This pollen filter came out of a car in for service today, packed with dirt, dust and even leaves.

Customer came in for a standard service and we discovered this badly buckled alloy wheel.

🚨 Hear that knocking noise? This is why you shouldn’t ignore it…

In this video, you can see a drive shaft with excessive play, and that movement is what’s causing the knocking sound. Left too long, this kind of wear can lead to bigger (and more expensive) problems.

Up on the ramp this week was this Kia in with noisy brakes and a knock from the front end.

After a proper check over, it turned out the brakes were right down to the metal, meaning new discs and pads were needed. On top of that, the front suspension noise was caused by a broken coil spring and worn lower arm bushes.

Not the kind of thing you want to leave too long…
