What a day at RENNTAG 2026.

From incredible cars and passionate owners to great conversations and shared experiences, Sunday was a fantastic celebration of everything that makes the Porsche community so special.

What started as a new event last year has grown into something truly remarkable, becoming a staple of the Porsche community in the North and bringing together enthusiasts from across the region and the entire UK.

As the oldest Porsche Centre in the UK, we understand what it means to be a true custodian of the marque. For generations, we've had the privilege of helping owners preserve, maintain and enjoy some of the finest sports cars ever created.

That's why we're excited to introduce "Custodians. by Porsche", a membership programme designed to bring passionate classic Porsche owners even closer to the Porsche community.

We were delighted to welcome guests from the Cumbria Chamber of Commerce Directors Forum, to our Evolution, Not Reinvention presentation at our Centre.

The day began with an insightful presentation from our General Sales Manager Ryan, exploring how the Porsche brand continues to embrace electrification and innovation while remaining true to the heritage, values, and identity that have defined it for generations. Before having a tour of the showroom and workshop by Joe our Porsche Pro, also seeing the fitting of a Manthey Kit to a GT3RS.

Guests then enjoyed a unique driving experience, taking to the roads of the Lake District in a fleet of ten Porsche models across two carefully curated routes, before joining up for lunch at Spice at Gilpin Hotel & Lake House.

Throughout the day, a powerful theme emerged that extended far beyond the automotive world: the importance of evolving with purpose, balancing legacy with progress, and maintaining authenticity while engaging new audiences.

It was a thought-provoking discussion and a valuable opportunity for business leaders to reflect on how organisations can successfully navigate change without losing sight of what makes them distinctive.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such an engaging and memorable occasion. We look forward to welcoming you to future Directors Forum events at Porsche Centre South Lakes.
