If your tyres have a cut, bulge or uneven wear, they will need replacing.
Even if they are above the legally required tread depth. If you get pulled over by the police with illegal tyres, then they could issue you 3 points per corner, meaning you could lose your license.

Why?
A lot of the time, they do not fit.
Haven't been tested and therefore break.
Can cause other parts to no longer work properly.

Resulting in more trips to the garage.
