We’ve had many people saying to us at events recently that they wish to store their cars with us over the winter months, and we keep responding with ‘get it reserved’.
We don’t cram your cars in to our space like some others do, we spread the cars out, ensuring that there’s adequate room around each vehicle. We have a limited space of around 15 cars and half of those spaces are already taken.

Historic cars are not just metal.
Every single Historic car has a story. Acting as a time capsule reflected from the era in which they were built.
We have cars brought to us that are financially not worth restoring, but to the owner it has unforgettable memories linked with it.
It could be the car they learnt to drive in, a car that was owned by a deceased family member, a car that was used to transport their bride to their wedding. Imagine some of the conversations that have taken place inside these metal boxes.

Then on the other scale there’s the Historic Motorsport cars. - Cars that were built for one purpose. To race!
Imagine the sights these cars have seen, the abuse they’ve been put under, the narrow escapes, or incredible luck, the tragedies, the many hands fettling them to make them as perfect as they can be.
The literal blood sweat and tears of the drivers and co-drivers who’ve piloted them.
Every scratch, every imperfection, every repair, through generations.
If only these capsules could talk about where they’ve been, what they’ve seen, who they’ve transported, and so much more.

🔸 We had a day off today to crack on with our own projects for a change.
It’s getting to the point now where we don’t have the time to enjoy our own builds so each week we are all trying to allocate a day for ourselves.

So today, Simon whipped the Engine, Gearbox, Subframe and running gear out of the Leon Cupra, ready to be stripped down. This power plant will ultimately be the base for Simon’s Mk1 Transit Connect very soon.

Richard has been really blitzing his Lancia Appia Restoration, with all metalwork completed and the car now in Primer. - we’ll do a proper write up with pics on this quirky car soon.

We are selling a mk1 Ford Transit Connect ‘flipped’ rear beam.
Simon modified his factory beam by fabricating his own heavy duty mounts, and hangers with various ride height positions. This current setup lowers the back end of the van considerably. Simon’s van is currently around 5” lower than stock and has been used for number of years with no issues whatsoever.

Only selling due to a new setup in this van, so no longer required.

🔸 TR5/6 CP & CR Improved Throttle linkage kits

3 improved throttle rod assemblies, an overhead cross shaft and choke kit.
This throttle system, which has single cable operation, has proved itself a major contributor to smooth running and maintainability of Lucas mechanical petrol injection systems.

The kit includes a new overhead cross shaft mounted on sturdy pressed steel supports. By bringing the mechanism above the throttle bodies, space below is vacated so that high gas flow exhaust manifolds can be installed (the original under slung cross shaft would be in the way) and this new higher location keeps heat away from the mechanism as well as making access for adjustment easier. This upper cross shaft, which runs in 3 bearings made from a material superior to the original in as much as it is not affected by heat, grease or U.V. light, is connected to the throttle butterfly spindles by three independent ball jointed rods assemblies. These new rod assemblies have been designed to eliminate inlet butterfly ‘flutter’ by having spring loaded ball ends and are easily adjusted to greatly improve throttle balance as the kit sits above the throttle bodies rather than below.
