This Clio 3 RS came back to us with a complaint of wandering steering. 🔧

As this is a car we previously fitted a Blackline differential and rebuilt the gearbox on, it certainly got our attention.

After a thorough inspection, we found the cause. The car had recently had a cambelt and track rod end replaced elsewhere due to time constraints, but unfortunately the track rod end spacer hadn’t been refitted during the work.

A new spacer was installed, the geometry checked over, and the steering was back to how it should be. While it was with us, we also carried out a fresh MOT, leaving the customer with a clean bill of health and a car that’s ready to enjoy once again. 👌

Sometimes it’s the smallest missing part that makes the biggest difference.

Something a little different for us this weekend. ✈️🏁

We’ve flown over to Guernsey to support Henry as he takes on his home hillclimb event in the Peugeot 308 Cup Car.

Having competed here previously in his kart, this year it’s the 308’s turn to tackle the course. It’s a completely different challenge to circuit racing, but one we’re all looking forward to.

It’s been a fantastic event so far, on a beautiful island, surrounded by some genuinely lovely people. The welcome we’ve received has been brilliant, and there’s an incredible variety of machinery competing throughout the weekend. 👌

Best of luck to Henry—we can’t wait to see what the rest of the weekend has in store! 💪🏁

This Megane R26 is currently in with us for a bit of TLC and some running repairs. 🔧

A common issue on older cars, but this one had managed to snap all four coil springs, so the hunt began for a set of genuine OE replacements. Unfortunately, parts for these cars are becoming increasingly difficult to source, and for some reason original-spec springs are proving particularly elusive — especially as the customer wanted to retain the factory ride height rather than lower it.

While we’re in there, we’re also replacing the top mounts, along with fitting new front discs and pads, giving the front end a well-deserved refresh. 👌

Thankfully the parts have now landed, so it’s time to get everything bolted back together this week and have this iconic RenaultSport back out on the road where it belongs. 👊

BMW 1 Series in with us for a full alignment after the customer fitted a selection of M3 suspension components, including upgraded arms to improve the geometry and handling. 🔧

Built with track use firmly in mind, getting the alignment dialled in is just as important as the hardware itself. With everything now set up correctly, this one is shaping up to be a seriously capable trackday machine. 👌

We’re looking forward to hearing how it gets on at its next outing, with the customer heading out for a trackday next week. 🏁

It’s always satisfying seeing a build come together, and this one certainly has all the ingredients to be a lot of fun. 👊

This past weekend saw us back out running the Peugeot 308 Cup Car, this time in the Production Cup with fan favourite Henry Swanson behind the wheel. 🏁

With only a week between events, we were up against it to repair the car following its last outing. The team put in a huge effort to get everything turned around in time, and it paid off in style. 👊

After a strong showing throughout the weekend, Henry brought home P2 in Race 1 before going one better in Race 2, standing on the top step of the podium. 🥈🏆

A fantastic result for everyone involved and a reward for all the hard work that went into getting the car back on track.

There’s no rest for the team though, with just a two-week turnaround before we head to Guernsey, where Henry will be taking part in his home island’s hillclimb event in the Peugeot. 🇬🇬

A cracking weekend all round and a huge thank you to everyone in the team who helped make it happen. These results are only possible because of the effort put in behind the scenes. 💪

Last weekend saw us back out with the Peugeot and the crew, this time tackling the Silverstone GP Circuit with the for the Club Enduro and Roadsports endurance races. 🏁

After discussions with the scrutineers regarding the car’s minimum weight, some ballast was added to put us just over the figure we’d been advised to meet, and qualifying got underway.

Henry got straight to work and, despite being surrounded by some seriously quick machinery, put in a mega effort to secure P1 in class. 👊

Come race time for the 45-minute Roadsports encounter, a grid of over 60 cars made for a hectic rolling start and Henry found himself a little boxed in. Undeterred, he fought his way back through the pack and into 3rd in class, rapidly closing on 2nd place with just a few laps remaining.

Unfortunately, disaster struck when a driveshaft failed, damaging the differential and wheel bearing, effectively leaving the car as a one-wheel-drive machine for the closing laps. Somehow Henry still managed to bring it home in 3rd place. 💪

To make matters even more frustrating, post-race scrutineering resulted in a disqualification for being underweight — despite the car being at the weight we had been advised to run. To add insult to injury, the car that finished ahead was later disqualified for failing ride-height checks, making it a particularly tough pill to swallow. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The damage from the driveshaft failure unfortunately proved too extensive to repair at the circuit, with replacement parts proving difficult to source in time for Sunday’s race. The decision was made to focus on getting the car ready for its next outing instead.

The Peugeot is already back on the ramp with parts ordered and the team hard at work to make sure it’s ready for this weekend’s Production Cup. 🔧🏁

We had this lovely Clio 182 back in with us for a few more upgrades. 🔧

This time fitting to the front wishbones and anti-roll bars, along with braided lines on the rear axle to sharpen things up even further. 👌

While it was on the ramp we gave the car a full once-over, and it left with a clean bill of health ready for more miles and track action. 💪

You may remember this one from its previous visit shortly after the customer bought it, when we fitted a Blackline diff, rebuilt the gearbox, and installed a new clutch amongst other work. Safe to say this Clio is becoming a very sorted little weapon. 👊

A weekend of racing at Snetterton Circuit with in the Production Cup and DS3 Cup. 🏁

Lewis was out in the DS3 for his very first race weekend and loved every second behind the wheel of the venerable little Citroën. This car continues to perform time and time again whilst putting the biggest smiles on drivers’ faces. 👌

Henry was back out in the Peugeot Cup Car in the top class, bringing home a pair of P2 finishes and two more trophies for the cabinet. 💪🏆🏆

Another mega weekend of racing and plenty more to come. 👊
