Today, in support of National Young Rider Day, we're revisiting our Young Rider campaign, which was developed in partnership with the National Young Riders Forum.

The campaign highlighted a powerful truth: a single tyre-related incident can cost a young rider their independence, whether that's being stranded at the roadside or, in the most serious cases, sustaining life-changing or fatal injuries.

Data from the Young Riders Matter project shows that between 2021 and 2023, 4,203 young riders were killed or seriously injured on UK roads, including 175 fatalities.

The campaign promoted TyreSafe's ACT message, encouraging riders to check their Air Pressure, Condition and Tread before every journey.

The campaign resources, along with a range of educational materials for powered two-wheeler riders, remain available in the Resources section of the TyreSafe website.
