Not all work experience is spent behind a desk.

This week we welcomed 15 year old Jack to the SM Pro workshop. Away from racing his YZ125 in the championship, where he’s currently sitting 3rd overall, he wanted to spend his work experience somewhere connected to the sport he loves.

Throughout the week, Jack got hands-on with every stage of the wheel-building process, from making spokes and preparing components to building wheels in the workshop. It was great to see his enthusiasm for learning what goes into every wheel before it reaches the track.

It’s been a pleasure having Jack with us this week. He’s been keen to learn, sharp, quick-witted, and fitted straight into the team from day one. He wasn’t afraid to ask questions, get involved, and even contribute his own ideas - exactly the attitude you want to see.

Thanks for all your hard work this week, Jack. Best of luck for the rest of the season - we’ll be keeping an eye on those Plews British Masters results! 🤝🏁

Built especially for Michelin to showcase the all-new Anakee Adventure 2 tyres at the Adventure Bike Rider Festival this weekend.

For this one-off promotional build, we customised our SM Pro billet aluminium hubs with laser-etched Michelin logos, then finished the rims with a black base and Michelin yellow and blue Splatterkote design, complete with matching etched branding.

The wheels were laced together using our bulldog high-tensile stainless steel spokes and blue anodised aluminium ni***es before being wrapped in the new Michelin Anakee Adventure Adventure 2 tyres.

Recent build we carried out for a Yamaha YZ125 Supermoto.

Spec’d with our billet aluminium hubs, anodised in yellow and laced to black anodised SM Pro Platinum aircraft-grade aluminium rims using Bulldog high-tensile polished stainless steel spokes and matching yellow ni***es.

Built by hand, made to perform, and guaranteed to turn heads.
