Conwy @ Christmas – Festive Fair on Conwy Harbour – Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 November 2026

The Christmas fair is back on Conwy quayside, right under the castle walls. A big heated, fairy-lit marquee full of makers and small traders from across the UK: handmade gifts, crafts, food and drink, and plenty of ideas for the stockings. Open 10am to 5pm each day and entry is free, so you can wander in, warm up and browse at your own pace.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. – Theatr Colwyn, Colwyn Bay – Friday 20 to Sunday 22 November 2026

The car that flies is landing in Colwyn Bay. A local company brings the family favourite to the stage at Theatr Colwyn, with all the Sherman Brothers songs you remember from the film. Shows are Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 2pm and 7pm, and Sunday at 2pm, with tickets from £12, so there's a matinee for the little ones and an evening for the grown-ups.

The Cambrian Rally is back in Llandudno this Saturday, 24 October 2026. One of Wales's biggest motorsport events starts on Llandudno Promenade at 8am, heads off into the Gwydir, Brenig and Clocaenog forests, and the cars roll back onto the prom for the finish from around 5pm. You can get up close to the cars, meet the crews and soak up the atmosphere on the seafront. Fireworks in Betws-y-Coed – Saturday 7 November 2026

The Betws-y-Coed Fireworks Display is back on Cae Llan, the village green right in the centre of Betws-y-Coed, on Saturday 7 November from 6.30pm. Organised by Betws y Coed Community Council, it is a proper village fireworks night in the heart of Snowdonia, with the cafés and pubs of Betws only a few steps away for something warm afterwards.

For families with their own static caravan at Bryn Morfa it is an easy evening out: about half an hour up the Conwy Valley, then back to your own caravan on the coast with nothing to pack and no early start on the Sunday.

Conwy Half Marathon – Sunday 15 November 2026

One of the best mornings of the year on Conwy quay. The Conwy Half Marathon starts at 9.30am on the bridge in front of the castle, with over 4,000 runners heading out through Deganwy and Llandudno, round the Great Orme and back into town. There is a one-mile Fun Run over the bridge at 8.45am too (£5 on the day, children nine and under with an adult), so the whole family can join in or simply line the quayside and cheer.

SIX The Musical is coming to Venue Cymru, Llandudno, from Tuesday 10 to Saturday 14 November 2026.

The six wives of Henry VIII grab the microphone and tell their own stories in 80 minutes of pop, sass and history. It is a West End favourite and a real treat for families with older children (age guidance 10+). Evening shows every night, plus 6pm performances on the Wednesday and Friday and a 4pm matinee on the Saturday, with tickets from £22.

For our caravan owners at Bryn Morfa it is just a short drive along the coast to the Promenade, so you can make a night of it and head back to your own caravan afterwards, no packing and no hotel needed.

There is a proper bit of Christmas on the quay this month.

Conwy @ Christmas runs Friday 20 to Sunday 23 November, 10am to 5pm, in a heated marquee on Conwy Harbour, LL32 8BB. Free entry. UK makers and artisans, gifts that are actually made by someone, fairy lights, and Conwy Castle as the backdrop. If you have family coming up for the weekend, this is an easy one: wander the fair, then a lap of the walls while the light is still good.

Colwyn Bay is switching Christmas on. 🎄

Saturday 28 November, the town centre fills up for the Colwyn Bay Christmas Collective. Noon to 7pm. Santa’s grotto, live performances, funfair rides and festive stalls through the afternoon. Then the Lantern Parade at 6pm, and the Christmas lights switch-on at 6:30pm.

A proper community night, and only a short hop along the coast from Conwy.
