This week, we had a BMW with a common but frustrating towbar fault. Whether it’s an aftermarket kit that hasn’t been coded or a genuine module that’s stopped communicating, these issues can disable your safety features and make towing a nightmare.

Using dealer-level ISTA+ software, we performed a deep-dive health check. It’s not just about clearing codes; it’s about finding the “why.”
• Module Communication: We identified a fault in the trailer module that was “invisible” to standard OBD scanners.

Another BMW back on the road today with a serious tech upgrade and some custom performance coding. This client wanted to bring their interior into 2026, and we delivered exactly that!
📱 The Tech Transformation
We performed a full iD4 to iD6 software upgrade, completely refreshing the user interface to the modern, tile-based layout. But the real game-changer? Full-screen Apple CarPlay activation. No more outdated maps or clunky interfaces—just seamless integration for music, navigation, and messages.
🏁 Suspension & Performance Coding
After the customer fitted a new set of coilovers, the car was throwing errors due to the Electronic Damper Control (EDC).
• EDC Delete: We successfully coded out the EDC system, removing those annoying dash warnings and allowing the new suspension to perform without electronic interference.
• Health Check: Finished off with a full dealer-level diagnostic to ensure every module in the vehicle is running 100% error-free.

Another successful repair completed on this stunning BMW iX ⚡️
Customer contacted me after the main display screen suddenly cracked without any impact whatsoever. Unfortunately, BMW rejected the warranty claim, stating the damage had to be caused physically by a person. The quote from BMW was nearly £4000 just for the screen itself, plus labour 🤯
After a bit of searching, I managed to source a genuine used screen in perfect condition and complete the whole repair for around 35% less than the dealer price 💪🏼
The new screen had to be fully coded and programmed into the vehicle, and now everything is working exactly as it should with one very happy customer 👌🏼

Sometimes there are much more cost-effective solutions than replacing everything through the dealer!

Had the pleasure of working on a stunning BMW M5 today 🔥

Car came in for live parameters diagnostics, a deeper level of inspection that goes far beyond a standard fault code scan. Another solid job done on this well modified BMW 1 Series, getting it fully prepped and ready for the next track day 🏁🔥

After fitting Recaro seats, I carried out full coding to eliminate all related faults and ensure everything integrates perfectly with the car’s system. No warning lights, no errors, just how it should be.

Completed full diagnostics and system checks across the vehicle to make sure everything is running spot on before it hits the track again. Reliability and performance always come first when it comes to track prep 💪🏼
