The reality is a lot more nuanced. āš”šŸŒ

When people talk about EV sustainability, they often focus purely on battery production.

But to understand the true environmental impact of a vehicle, you have to look at the full lifecycle (manufacturing, daily driving and end-of-life recycling).

EVs produce zero tailpipe emissions while driving, helping to improve air quality in towns and cities and as the UK grid continues to shift towards renewable energy, the electricity powering EVs is becoming cleaner every year.

No vehicle is completely impact-free, but EVs are widely recognised as a more sustainable long-term alternative to traditional petrol and diesel cars.
