Bare chassis complete. 🛠️🏁

We’ve finished the full FIA compliant Roll Cage install on the Citigo. When you’re building a car this small for serious rally work, torsional rigidity is everything. We didn't just fit this in—it’s fully integrated into the chassis to ensure maximum stiffness and safety.

From the precise tube notches to the final welds, everything is dialed in to FIA standards. The foundation is set, and this little Skoda is now officially over-engineered in all the right ways.

It’s not just a city car anymore. 🚀

This Skoda Citigo is undergoing a transformation that goes far beyond aesthetics. We’re deep into the fabrication stage, turning this chassis into a serious, rally-focused machine.

The scope of work:
🔹 Full seam welding for maximum chassis rigidity
🔹 FIA-compliant roll cage
🔹 FIA-spec seat rails on both sides
🔹 Dedicated jacking points

Every weld is a commitment to performance. We’re building this to be an absolute weapon on rally stages. Stay tuned this week for more updates as this build comes together. 🛠️⚡

Found some shots of this SL-C build from last year. 📸✨

It’s easy to get lost in the final result, but this throwback is all about the process. We didn’t cut corners when we fabricated this cage—every weld had to match the quality of the rest of the car.

When you start with a clean-sheet design as advanced as the Superlite, you owe it to the platform to treat the fabrication with the same level of respect. Still one of my favorite shop projects to date. 🏎️💨
