A quick post regarding our rider support and sponsorship. We have had an influx of new applications recently on the website.
Firstly, thank you for wanting to be part of the MK Off Road family. We genuinely enjoy supporting young riders and helping people progress in trials. One of the reasons we do this is because we believe in giving something back to the sport and helping the next generation.
Over the years we have offered sponsored riders discounts on bikes, parts, clothing and support because we want to help families get involved and make trials more affordable.
Sponsorship’s are a partnership. The support we give is offered with the understanding that riders and families help support MK Off Road in return — whether that’s sharing our posts, tagging us at events, mentioning us when people ask about bikes, or simply helping spread the word about a small business that is supporting them. We’d also expect to be used for future purchases of all things trials related. For a small family business like ours, these things really do make a difference.
We have had some great applications, but we have also had a few where, once we explain that sponsorship is a two-way partnership, we haven’t heard back. We completely understand that it may not suit everyone, but we want to work with riders and families who share our passion for supporting trials.
A quick share of a post, a tag from an event, or showing appreciation for the support you receive goes a long way.
We want to continue supporting riders, but we also need the relationship to work both ways.
We really appreciate the riders who already do this — it doesn’t go unnoticed!
