🔊 Citroën Xantia Speaker Upgrade! 🔊

The owner of this classic Citroën Xantia recently got in touch with us to upgrade their factory speakers.

The goal? More output and clearer sound, while keeping the original factory radio intact. 📻

Working within the customer's budget, we sourced a great set of Vibe audio speakers for both the front and rear. ✅

The install was going smoothly until we hit a snag—the driver-side speaker had no output. After some quick troubleshooting, we uncovered a broken speaker wire deep inside the door loom.

To fix it right, we:
⚫Traced the wiring back to the source.
⚫Ran a fresh set of premium speaker wires directly from the back of the original stereo through the door jam.
⚫Repaired several other frayed and broken wires inside the door to prevent future issues.

The result? The customer noticed the difference immediately! Clear, punchy sound with absolutely none of the 'rattle' that these tiny factory speakers are known for. 💯

Citroen Berlingo Beacon Installation 🚨

We recently had this 2019 Berlingo in the workshop for us to wire up a roof beacon the customer had recently fitted 💡

We wired this directly to a switch and followed the factory loom and installed it in the cabin.

The beacon also benefits from 10 different patterns so we wired a 'momentary' switch to control this feature. ✅

Customer is now all set for marshalling at Donegal Rally ✅

🏮 2013 Volvo R-Design With Abs Faults 🏮

We recently had this 2013 Volvo with ABS faults on the dash.

Diagnostics carried out revealed fault codes stored for rear wheel speed sensors.

Further checks on the ABS module and live data testing confirmed the rear right sensor was completely faulty 🛑

We sourced a direct replacement sensor and replaced the faulty one ✅

A quick road test and clear of the fault codes confirmed a successful repair—no more ABS lights on the dash! ✅

🚨 MK7 Golf LED Fog Light Retrofit & Custom Wiring 🚨

This Mk7 Golf came down to us recently after getting an upgraded front bumper fitted, but needed the foglights wired up as this golf didn't come with foglights from the factory.

We carried out a full retrofit with a new Euroswitch and a custom made loom for the job.

The Led foglights now act as 'take me home' lights when the car is locked and unlocked.
