Today marks 30 years of the theory test. 🎉

On 1 July 1996, a separate written theory test was introduced, replacing Highway Code questions that had previously been asked during the practical driving test. 📝

3 decades on, it remains a vital part of the driver testing and training regime and makes sure that people have the theory they need to drive safely and responsibly. ✅

Huge congratulations goes to Matthew who had the first test of the day at 07.03 this morning & passed. Matthew has been a natural right from the start & we bought his test forward by 2 months as he has had lots of outside practice from (Mum & Dad) which has made him a safe driver & with only a few minors he smashed it this morning. I wish you well for the future with Uni, football & refereeing. Stay safe.

I love when a family ask you to teach their daughters to drive, especially our neighbours. With the help of Mum & Dad (Hannah & Peter ) the girls have both passed first time, Harriet back in 2018 & Emily today. Well done to you both & I wish you both well for the future.

Huge congratulations to Liam who passed his first driving test this morning with only 5 minors. It's not been an easy journey but Liam gave his all to every lesson which has helped on today's pass. Massive congratulations to Rayne who passed her driving test this lunchtime with only 2 minors, this was not her first test but her first with me as her instructor. Rayne had a slight delay on taking her test as her last test was cancelled whilst at the test centre due to an accident & traffic so bad, but she went & aced it today, I think Rayne attracted all the bad drivers on her test & even had to do an emergency stop for a van that pulled right out in front of her. So proud of you Rayne & wishing you well for the future, I am so happy for you. Start saving for that car now.
