Falmouth School of Sailing Falmouth School of Sailing is a family-run RYA training centre, established in 1981.

We offer sailing courses, yacht charters, and professional maritime training from our base in the beautiful harbour town of Falmouth, Cornwall. We are a friendly, professional and approachable sailing and powerboat training school located in one of the largest and most beautiful natural working Harbours in the world.

The Scillies Are Calling🌅

There are few better feelings than dropping anchor after a day under sail and watching the sun disappear beyond the horizon.

Just 28 miles from Land's End, the Isles of Scilly offer crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches and some of the most rewarding cruising grounds in the UK.

A VHF radio is one of the most important pieces of safety equipment onboard, but only if you know how to use it correctly.

This one-day course covers radio operation, routine communication, distress procedures and the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), helping you communicate confidently and effectively at sea.
