I’ve seen so many posts lately about people being scammed by fake caravan rentals, so I just wanted to share a few tips to help you stay safe and avoid being caught out 👇

🔎 Do your checks first
• Make sure they have a proper business page and, ideally, a website
• Look at their reviews – some owners share photos of guest books, or have genuine online reviews

🚩 Watch for red flags
• If they claim to be on a Haven site and say they can include passes – this is a big red flag 🚫
• Be cautious if prices seem too good to be true

📞 Make contact
• Check there’s a valid telephone number and actually speak to them if you can
• Genuine owners are usually happy to answer questions

📸 Ask for proof
• Request recent photos or even a quick video of the caravan
• You can also ask for confirmation of ownership or pitch details
