Mercedes GLC 300 Maintenance Detail

This Mercedes GLC 300 first visited us around 2½ years ago for paint correction and ceramic coating protection. It was back in with us for some maintenance work to keep it looking its best and to address a few areas that had picked up defects over time.

The process began with a thorough exterior clean, followed by a full chemical decontamination of the paintwork and wheels to safely remove bonded contaminants and restore a smooth finish.

The bonnet had suffered a number of deep scratches which were carefully wet sanded and machine polished to significantly reduce their appearance and restore clarity to the paintwork. Several stone chips on the bonnet were also touched in, then wet sanded and polished to help blend the repairs into the surrounding paintwork.

Once the correction work was completed, the bonnet was re-protected with Gtechniq Crystal Serum to reinstate long-term protection. To refresh the existing coating across the rest of the vehicle, a fresh layer of Gtechniq EXO V5 was applied to the entire car, restoring outstanding gloss, hydrophobic performance and ease of maintenance.

A great example of how ceramic coatings can continue to protect and preserve a vehicle for years when properly maintained.

Maserati Ghibli S – Exterior & Interior Detail

This stunning Maserati Ghibli S returned to us for an exterior clean and deep interior detail.

Originally detailed and protected with Gtechniq ceramic coatings over 3 years ago, it’s a great example of just how durable a professionally installed ceramic coating can be when properly maintained. The paintwork still presents exceptionally well, with excellent gloss, depth and water-repelling properties.

The exterior received a thorough safe wash to remove accumulated road grime and restore that deep showroom shine, while the interior was treated to a comprehensive deep clean, leaving every surface fresh, clean and revitalised.

Over 3 years on from its original protection package and still looking fantastic – a testament to both the quality of the Gtechniq coating system and regular maintenance.

BMW 540i in with us for some coating maintenance and protection refresh.

This vehicle was originally coated around 2 years ago with Gtechniq ceramic coatings and is still presenting extremely well thanks to the protection in place.

Thorough exterior clean carried out followed by full chemical decontamination to safely remove built up contaminants from the paintwork.

To top up and maintain the existing protection, we re applied Gtechniq EXO V5 to restore slickness, gloss and hydrophobic performance.

The wheels were also removed following a recent refurbishment and protected with Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour to help keep them cleaner for longer and make future maintenance easier.

Brake calipers were also re coated to finish everything off properly.

Finished off with a light interior valet to freshen everything back up inside.

Looking fresh, protected and ready for another couple of years of easy maintenance.

Tesla Model Y back in with us for some re-coating work after recent repair work carried out to the rear bumper and tailgate.

Previously detailed and ceramic coated by us, so this visit was all about restoring protection and ensuring the repaired areas matched the rest of the vehicle perfectly.

Starting with a thorough exterior clean and full chemical decontamination to safely remove any contaminants from the paintwork before polishing stages.

The repaired rear bumper and tailgate were then re-polished to refine the finish and maximise gloss before being re-coated in Gtechniq CSL & EXO V5 for long term protection, slickness and durability.

The rest of the vehicle was treated to Gtechniq Liquid Crystal to top up and maintain the existing ceramic coatings, keeping the whole car looking fresh and protected.

Range Rover Velar enhancement detail

Starting with a full exterior decontamination clean and clay bar treatment to safely remove bonded contamination from the paintwork before moving onto correction stages.

A single stage machine polish was then carried out to restore gloss, clarity and depth throughout the vehicle.

The passenger side had several heavier scratches which required wet sanding and localised machine correction to significantly improve the finish and blend the defects back into the surrounding paintwork.

To finish things off, Gtechniq Liquid Crystal was applied to the paintwork, adding gloss, slickness and short term protection while enhancing the overall finish.

Huge transformation overall with the paintwork now looking far sharper, glossier and refreshed.

Ford Transit Custom cab detail

Well overdue a proper deep clean and safe to say this one was up there with some of the dirtiest seats we’ve worked on.

Full deep clean carried out throughout the interior cab including a thorough shampoo, steam clean and extraction process on all seats to lift built up dirt and grime from deep within the fabric.

All interior plastics cleaned and dressed bringing everything back to a much fresher finish.

Tesla Model 3 heavy tar removal detail

This Tesla Model 3 came in suffering from extremely heavy tar contamination, far beyond the usual levels we see during a standard decontamination process. It appears the vehicle may have been driven through a freshly resurfaced road, leaving thick tar deposits across the bodywork and lower sections of the vehicle.

Starting with a thorough exterior clean to safely remove loose dirt and grime before moving into the decontamination stages.

A good amount of time was spent carefully breaking down and removing the heavy tar build up from the paintwork and where arches using specialised tar removers and safe removal methods to avoid damaging the paintwork.

While carrying out the chemical decontamination process, a fallout remover was also applied to dissolve embedded iron particles and other contaminants from the paintwork and wheels.

Once fully cleansed and decontaminated, the paintwork was protected with Gtechniq Liquid Crystal, adding gloss, slickness and short term protection while enhancing the overall finish.

A huge transformation on this Model 3, restoring a much cleaner and smoother finish after some extremely stubborn contamination.
