ADO Restoration is part of ADO Equipment Ltd, and offers full vehicle restorations for your classic. From a complete strip down and rebuild, to single panel replacement. Open Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. Later evenings and weekends upon appointment.

We recently welcomed a Morris Minor into the bodyshop, which was in need of some repairs to corroded areas.

Ed has been busily getting on with those and has made the piece to fit into the floor which he’s cut out.

Please note that due to being a busy workshop, we do ask that you get in touch to make an appointment as we’re not always able to accommodate walk ins. By prior agreement, we can arrange for you to visit early mornings or evenings, so don’t worry if you’re a 9 to 5er, we’ve got you covered!

Blaine is busy doing some bonnet repairs for the Wolseley today!

The restorations in the workshop this week are moving forward at quite the pace, which is great because there are plenty of new projects just around the corner.

Great progress for the Standard 8!

Ed has been trial fitting the front end and it’s looking great, just a few last tweaks and then we’ll be satisfied.

We love working on the lesser spotted classics, so if something rare is languishing on your drive or in your garage, get in touch. We are happy to discuss everything from a light recommission to full nut and bolt concours resto.

No panels? No problem!

Sometimes we work on cars where panels are no longer available and when faced with corrosion, we step in and make the panels or pieces in-house at ADO Restoration.

Blaine has recently been helping with the wings for the Standard 8, retaining as much of the original metal as possible whilst ensuring all the corroded metal is replaced.

If you’ve got a car to restore and worry you can’t get it done due to scarcity of panels, why not drop us an email and we can discuss getting it road ready!

Need some Bank Holiday adventure inspiration?

We attended the Beaulieu Spring Autojumble last weekend and met the courageous Martin from Switzerland who had driven his 803cc Morris Minor all the way from Switzerland to the event!

We thought we’d be the furthest travelled, doing nearly 250 miles in a 1098cc Morris Minor, but we were delighted to be beaten in our efforts by Martin.

Bank Holiday opening hours at ADO Restoration

We’ll be downing tools on Monday 25th May for a well-earned extra day off… although most of us will probably still be working on our own classics!

Breakdowns, they always come when you least expect them to!

This stunning Rover P6 came to us with gearbox failure at the worst possible time, less than a fortnight before a big automotive event it was booked in for. After some urgent workshop attention, we’re pleased to have it repaired, tested, and back on the road where it belongs.
