BMW M5 in Monte Carlo Blue 💙🏎️

Customer had previously had the air conditioning system re-gassed, which eventually gave up and started to blow warm air again 🥵🔥

We traced the gas leak to the A/C condenser. You can see the oil and dye staining to the bottom right of the unit 🔍💧

✅ Leak traced to the A/C condenser
✅ New condenser fitted 🔧
✅ System re-gassed
✅ Now blowing nice and cool again at 2 degrees 🥶❄️

Fun fact 🔬💡

Did you know using your air con will help de-mist your windscreen? 🚗💨

Using the A/C system in winter will help remove the moisture from the air and clear your windows faster 👌☔

Air con blowing warm or not clearing your windows? Come speak to the team and see how we can assist 📩

BMW 420i in Arctic Race Blue 😎

This one came in with a loud whining noise coming from the rear of the car 🔊

Complaint: loud whining from the rear ✅

Diagnosis: rear differential internals causing the whine (would argue poor manufacturing)✅

Rectification: brand new rear differential installed with fresh hypoid oil ✅

Swipe through to see the new diff out of the box and fitted to the car 🔧

Now back over to the customer to continue motoring👌

BMW i8 Roadster, in today for returning customer Paul’s annual Condition Based Service 🔥

Always a pleasure seeing an i8 in the workshop, they’re definitely few and far between compared to the day-to-day cars we work on. Still in a league of its own in the BMW history books, and this colour looks spot on. Those iconic up-and-over doors never fail to turn heads 😍🚗

Did you know we’re fully trained in electric and hybrid BMW and MINI systems? ⚡️🔋 If your BMW or MINI needs attention, pop in for a chat or drop us a message.

Sam’s BMW X3M (F97) in Sophisto Grey 🔥🚙

This X3M’s sat nav decided to go for a swim 🤦🌊

GPS location was showing in the sea, and the cause was a waterlogged Telematics Control Unit (TCU) ✅

This is a fault we see a lot, usually down to poor bonding on the shark fin aerial 🦈📡
As you can see, the circuit board was properly fried from water ingress 💦⚡️

Now fitted with a new unit, fully programmed, and the shark fin re-bonded back in position 🔧💻
Sat nav is back showing the correct location 🗺️✅

Does your BMW think it’s a submarine? 😂🌊

On vehicles built 06/2020 onwards, BMW introduced a security lockout on the engine ECU to help prevent tampering.
