We can’t control the weather, but we can control how prepared we are!
🚗 Tyres
Your tyres are the only thing connecting you to the road. Check tread depth, tyre pressures and look for any damage. Standing water and worn tyres are not a good combination.
💡 Lights
Heavy rain can seriously reduce visibility. Make sure all your lights are working so you can see and be seen.
🌧️ Wipers & Screenwash
If your wipers smear, judder or leave streaks, replace them.
🔋 Battery
Extreme weather can expose a weak battery. If it’s struggling now, don’t wait until you’re stranded.
🚙 Slow Down
Even if your vehicle is in perfect condition, grip is reduced. Give yourself more time and more space.
A five-minute vehicle check could save you hours of hassle and might stop a collision.
