That little cable does a BIG job!

If your trailer ever became detached while towing, the breakaway cable is designed to activate the trailer brakes automatically, helping stop it safely instead of becoming a runaway trailer.

One important thing though...

❌ Don’t wrap it around the towball
✅ Clip it to a solid part of the towbar

It’s a simple check that could make all the difference.

🛞 Lose pressure
🛞 Crack or perish
🛞 Wear unevenly

And unlike your car, they’re easy to forget about. Before you get back into regular towing, give them a proper check.

One of the biggest risks when towing isn’t the trailer, it’s what’s on it.

Before you set off:
🔗 Use proper straps (not rope)
⚖ Spread the weight evenly
🪝 Secure from multiple points

It only takes one sudden brake or turn for things to shift.

Take the extra minute and make sure you don't spill your load!

What a weekend!

The Thule x Lake District event was everything it promised to be. Great people, unreal scenery, and plenty of adventure packed into a few days 🚴

Struggling with your jockey wheel? You’re not the only one.

After sitting through winter, they can seize up or become stiff to move.

Before assuming it’s broken:
🔧 Check for rust or debris
🛢 Add a bit of lubrication
🔄 Wind it through its full range to loosen it up

If it’s still not playing ball, it might be time for a replacement.
