BMW 320d stage 1 remap from Ridgewell, Essex. We remapped the B47 engine and ZF8-HP gearbox to improve the performance and driveability. We saw results of 41bhp and 63Nm tested in 4th gear using our DynoPro.

Volkswagen Passat CC 2.0 TDI CR150 stage 1 remap from Haverhill.

With some exhaust upgrades, this one has seen some nice improvements. 2.97s quicker 30-70mph is not bad at all! I would estimate this to be around 195bhp and 420Nm.

All the way from Bradford! Fours hours away.

Adil found me on social media and decided to make the journey down to Essex for a remap on his Peugeot Partner.

We found the van to already be remapped, but with a very basic map. After checking it wasn’t butchered and could be improved, we set to work making an improved stage 1.

Using Dragy today, we cut 4.44s off the 30-70mph time and 3.38s off the 50-70mph (probably would have been better to short shift to 4th gear!).

From the datalog, we estimate the van to be 114bhp and 305Nm. That’s 21bhp and 55Nm better than the other remap.

It’s not all about the peak numbers! Look at the “volume between the curves” from our stage 1 remap on this Mini Cooper S from Halstead, Essex. This is more important to me, alongside the driveability, than the headline figures.

With some adjustments I think this B48 engine could make more, but it’s already torque-steering and would likely become too undriveable.

Originally booked in for a custom tune, we had to call this one short, due to underlying issues that need resolving before the engine is going to respond correctly to the tuning. We made a base map which included calibration for 390cc fuel injectors. Full report provided to the customer, with prioritised next steps

Measured in 4th gear, these are the results from correctly applying exhaust gas temperature protection strategy to this Audi SQ5 TDI. The previous tuner had raised the limits to let the car perform stronger with a clogged DPF!

We do things right, not cheat. Slightly less performance, but safer for the engine.
