Apparently the Haldex system was only done last year at the dealers 😯
We think it’s only had a Haldex oil change, this shows the importance of removing the filter and cleaning it down properly prior to filling with fresh oil.

Vauxhall insignia - timing chain ⚙️
B16DTH engine.

Came in for excessive rattle noise, stripped to find lower chain guide had broken.

They fail due to the tensioner not having a gasket fitted from factory and it lets the oil drain back when engines off causing the tensioner to be slack on startup.

New kit fitted with upgraded tensioner.
