After yesterday's very busy day on the Ascenso Tyres UK stand at the Hillhead Show we are very much looking forward to another productive day at this, the UK's largest Quarrying, Industrial and Recycling show.

At this years Hillhead Show we've sent our Bush Tyres tyre team to the event to showcase Ascenso Tyres range of new Industrial and Earth Mover Tyres.

This will be the first time we've attended this Bi-Annual show which takes place within the Hillhead quarry near Buxton. The is the premier show to be at for those who work within, or supply the Earth Mover industry.

One of the key tyres the team will be promoting is 's 3100 radial Earth Mover tyre which has been engineered to perform within the harshest of environments.

Peugeot is an incredible company, when you look back into their history you discover that they've pretty much dabbled in everything going. Starting off in the early 1800's as Saw makers, before moving into producing Coffee Grinders then ladies Corsets then Bicycles and finally cars.

You could easily be forgiven for thinking that it was Porsche day in our Allround Tyres depot recently as we had a #911 4 in one bay with a 0-60mph time of around 3.7 seconds which was in for a routine and in the other bay sat a Porsche 4 Electric EV with an even quicker 0-60mph time of 3.5 seconds which was booked in for a full set of tyres.

On the sidewall of the Michelin's Pilot Sport EV Tyres they featured the marking which means that tyres with the NEO mark are designed for use on Porsche Macan vehicles from 2022 and onwards. Should you fit anything other than an NEO marked tyre, it could negatively affect and invalidate the warranty you have on your Macan.

The tyres fitted to the Macan also carried the EV marking which signifies they've been designed for electric vehicles. Electric vehicle tyres often feature different compounds, tread designs, reinforced side walls and lower rolling resistance.

On what looks like to have been a glorious Spring day, our Bushmobile tyre fitter from our Bush Tyres Norwich depot, set about changing the front tyres on this car over to a set of tyres (Vector 4Seasons).

Without question the Vredo Dodewaard -3 is a machine to be respected.
can trace their history back to 1947 when a certain dutch farmers son, Mr. B de Vree started the business as agricultural contractors.

Fast foward nearly 80 years and have grown to become a major player within the Self-Propelled Agricultural Vehicle sector.

Throughout their history they have embraced technology and on this VT7028-3 you can see its been equiped with a (CTIS) which allows the operator to adjust and set the optimal tyre pressures based on loading and environmental conditions from inside the cab.

Combine the with a set of or tyres from Ascenso Tyres and you have a slurry tanker which can carry a payload of up to 32,000 litres and operate on tyre pressures that are 40% lower than that of a standard non VF tyre under the same loading.

This reduction in operating tyre pressure significantly reduces soil compaction, and it doesn't just end there, as the tyres have been engineered to have narrower enlongated contact patches which ensures that the footprint of the trye stays within the furrow, this innovation goes a long way to increasing product yields.

This beautiful Aston Martin which develops 470bhp sent through a 6 speed sequential gearbox to the rear tyres, and when it's safe and legal to do so, transports you from 0-60mph in around 4.8 seconds.
