The S70 AMG was a special-order car (often via AMG Japan) produced in very limited numbers (roughly 15–30 units), meaning many were customized to the client’s preference, though they generally adhered to a “stealth” or “sleeper” aesthetic rather than bright, flashy colors.
The 1997–1998 Mercedes-Benz W140 S70 AMG is a highly exclusive vehicle with a heafty price tag… & that’s old money 🫡 imagine who you’d have to be to have access to this Kim of treatment from AMG.
3 different factory specifications…. Have a read👀

• Blue-on-Blue: A prominent example (1 of 18) featured a deep blue metallic exterior with matching dark blue leather interior.
• Green Black Metallic (189): Another documented example is finished in a sophisticated green-black metallic over black/medium grey leather.
• Blue-Black Metallic (199): One known, high-condition example is described as having “flawless” Blue-Black metallic paint, a standard high-end finish for AMG vehicles of that era.
• Exterior Accents: The car typically features body-colored AMG Monoblock wheels, particularly on special orders.
• Interior Styling: Interiors are often characterized by dark, high-quality Nappa leather with specialized wood veneer trim.
