Not sure how interested anyone is (as we fully geeked out 🤣) in this but we did a day of testing pressure washer and different nozzles and the effect it had on their flow, amps & psi across the main pressure washers we sell. With the help of ChatGPT for the infographics, here are the results from our pressure washer tests so far.
These were all done manually, using the same water tap, weighing scales, timer & 40° orifices.
To measure the flow rates for the pressure washers, we weighed the water after 60 seconds, which gives true litres per minute. The psi ratings was measured at the gun (as pump is miles off), with an inline pressure gauge. Amps were measured at the wall, with a digital amp meter. Sound needs to be taken with a pinch of salt as we only had a phone app and in most cases the water made more noise.
For the results, obviously Kranzle are solid, trusted workhorses, so we knew what to expect. But it's interesting how well the Actives performed in comparison. The things that stood out for us, were the flow that you can get from an Active 2.0 that only weights 5.6kg's! How low amps the Active 2.3 pulls (perfect for mobile) and the sheer volume of water the 3.0 can push!
We'll have to push them to see if they can make one for 220v first and maybe push for an Active 2.5.
