Interesting job now finished and had its first public outing at van life festival so can now put the build up. The Unimog had a new body built and fitted out we put the electrics water heating and air conditioning in
We have fitted 4 x 24v 330ah power was feed to 2 x lynx class t inputs feeding a lynx shunt and lynx distribution. 240v is taken care of by a 24v 3000w victron multiplus. We have used the victron xs1400 for b2b everything is sending feeds to a victron cerbo for monitoring we are controlling the solar panels by 4 independent mppts Victron Energy B.V.
For solar we have 2 500w solar panels on the roof and we have also 2x450panels fitted to each side and the rear for maximum solar input
The cerbo is measuring the auxiliary diesel tank and temp sensors in the electronic cupboard at set temp it turns on cooling fans automatically
We have fitted a dometic 240v roof ac unit
Now as this is an Autoterm.store UK demo van we have fitted a pair of 2kw 24v air heaters in the main habitation box. We have also fitted the new baltica hot water system feeds a radiator in the bathroom and blower box in the seating area. And we have a flow5 fitted in the engine bay for keeping engine warm in the artic
All low level lights and down lights are 24v and dimmable
We fitted a tetravan shower available from that folds nicely out the way when not in use we fitted a bunch of lighting from . All entry point into the van was via Scanstrut glands
4pm the night before the show we found the water pump leaking after further investigation found the bearing had collapsed. A replacement was located in Lancaster left autotermukheadoffice to collect it. I removed the old one then headed upto north wales to meet the water pump and bring back 1.30am Iām back in Southampton fitting the pump 4am the truck is up and running ready for the show š
