Workshop Controller — M&M Auto Repairs
We’re a busy workshop seeking a Workshop Controller to work alongside our foreman and front-of-house team coordinating the workshop’s daily operations.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain the workshop diary — scheduling jobs and workshop staff.
• Source and track parts so workshop staff have what they need when they need it.
• Liaise with front-of-house on quotes, scheduling, and customer updates.
• Support the foreman with quality control and safety standards.

Requirements
• Experience in a workshop or trade environment; automotive preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident communicator with customers, staff, and suppliers.
• Practical and hands-on when required.

Details
• Full-time, workshop-based
• Salary: £38,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Service Receptionist Vacancy😊
We are looking for an experienced full time receptionist/administrator to cover the front desk in our long established busy workshop in Inverness.🚗
You will deal directly with customers, scheduling service work to their vehicles and informing them of any additional repairs required over the phone and face to face.

Working with the workshop controller,
your duties will include:
Greeting customers, answering the telephone, taking bookings, payments, and other enquiries.
Interpreting customer concerns and comments and liaising with your workshop team.
Keeping customers fully informed
Gaining authorisation for any additional work required.
Preparing invoices for customers.
You will demonstrate good organisational skills and the ability to multi task, use of email, garage software (training given), online booking and ordering systems, and the ability to gather technical information and relay it in a way that customers will understand.
Previous experience of working within the motor sector is desirable, however training in all areas can be given.
