This weekend, Robbie, Oscar, Nathan, George, Toby and Charlie will be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge, aiming to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in less than 24 hours.

They're undertaking the challenge to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice, helping to support the vital care and services the charity provides to individuals and families across our community, while also honouring the memory of Oscar's Grandad.

We celebrated an extraordinary milestone last week as John retired after 48 years of service within the commercial vehicle industry and 12 years with Chassis Cab.

Over the course of his career, John has been a part of the franchise from Leyland, to Leyland DAF, and then DAF, witnessing and contributing to decades of change and success within the industry. His hard work, dedication and commitment to the business over nearly five decades have been invaluable, and his presence will certainly be missed.

Thank you, John, for everything you have done for the DAF/Chassis Cab throughout the last 48 years. We wish you a long, healthy and happy retirement.

A great looking new FTP 480 XF delivered to HP Freightways and now operating out of Felixstowe. This is the first of two new DAFs joining their fleet, and we’re pleased to welcome HP Freightways as a new customer. We look forward to building a strong relationship and continuing to support the team with their fleet requirements moving forward.

We’ve added two new DAFaid vans to our roadside assistance fleet, further strengthening our roadside assistance support and helping us respond quickly when our customers need us most.

By the end of April, our teams had responded to 840 DAFaid callouts across the four depots, supported by 19 dedicated DAFaid technicians.

In the latest retrospective league tables, Ipswich currently sits in 1st place, with Newmarket in 5th, Bury St Edmunds in 7th and Cambridge in 8th, a great reflection of the hard work across the team.
