A week ago today, Suffolk Yacht Harbour welcomed competitors and visitors for another fantastic Classic Regatta ⚓️

From close racing on the River Orwell to a brilliant atmosphere ashore, it was a memorable weekend celebrating classic boats and the community that brings them together.

A brilliant weekend at the Suffolk Yacht Harbour Classic Regatta ⚓️

Thank you to everyone who joined us - from the boats and crews on the water to those who helped make the weekend such a great occasion ashore.

With racing, live music, good food and plenty of time spent around the harbour, it was fantastic to see the classic sailing community come together once again at SYH.

The Suffolk Yacht Harbour Classic Regatta begins tomorrow! ⛵️🚤

Boats will be arriving throughout the day as the harbour prepares for a weekend of racing, live music, food and time spent with the wider classic sailing community.

From 6pm tomorrow evening, the optional opening race will get underway, with the Haven Ports Yacht Club lightship open for drinks and food as the regatta begins.

⚓️ Haul, scrub, one week ashore & relaunch: £34.88 per metre*

Available between 1st June and 1st September 2026.

A significant step forward for SYH ⚓️

We’re currently working with Push Power on a major solar installation here at Suffolk Yacht Harbour - the first ground-mounted solar and battery storage system of its kind at a UK marina.

Once complete, the system will support a large part of our day-to-day operations, helping to reduce reliance on grid power while improving long-term efficiency across the site.

It’s part of an ongoing commitment to maintaining and developing the harbour for the future - balancing practical service with a responsible approach to our environment.

Our Managing Director, Josh Major, will also be speaking on GenX Radio Suffolk this morning at 11:20am. Make sure you listen out!
