BMW Z3 headlight restoration.

This lovely BMW Z3's headlights had suffered over the years and had started to look a bit yellowy. Not only does this dim the lights of the car but also makes it look a bit tired.

With a bit of a sand and polish these lights came up great! If your headlights are the same then give me a shout and I can get them back to perfect.

Toyota Auris from 2008 that needed a bit of attention on its door.

As you can see from the original pictures there were a few deep scratches, a few dents and rust setting in on a few places on the door edge.

Some, sanding rust out, filleting, sanding, priming, painting and lacquering later and the door was looking a lot better. A final flat and polish brought it back to looking great.
Due to wear and tear on the car it required a full respray but the pictures above show the damage removed and looking good after a spray, flat and polish

BMW X1 scratch damage.

This BMW came to me with damage on the rear left hand side on its bumper. With a bit of filling, sculpting, priming, spraying and lacquering I was able to remove the damage.

The whole rear bumper needed to be resprayed which gave me the opportunity to remove further scratches across the rear that had been caused by pet marks.

This Nissan Note came to me with a bit of a nasty dent that had been caused by a run away trolley full of bags of heavy soil. You can see the line dent has broken the paint and that a smaller dent above it had also been created.

These dents required sanding down to metal to remove any traces of rust, filling with body filler and sculpting before primer and paint were applied to the panel and then a final couple of layers of clear coat were put on to finish the process off.

Another little project on my VX220 was to refurbish the 19 year old brake calipers. As you can see from the pictures they had become quite old and tired looking.

The final two pictures show exactly the same calipers refurbished and looking fresh. This was all accomplished without taking the calipers off and really makes the car pop.

I was recently contacted by a very nice gentleman here on Facebook regarding giving his car back on a lease deal. Through general wear and tear the car had picked up a few scratches in various areas, including the scratch seen in these pictures.

Thankfully, i was able to get this scratch out and some of the scratches left by his lovely dogs on the boot shelf.

Alloy wheel refurbishment.

Few scratches and marks on these 19 year old alloy wheels. Prepped, sanded, painted and lacquered in a nice clean new silver. After they were put back on the car they looked fantastic.

Lockdown has forced me to do a number of things on my own cars that I was putting off, including, changing the door panels on my 2002 Vauxhall VX220 from the old boring silver door cards to new, shiny Carbon Fibre ones.

To change these door cards and door handle surround I had to remove the whole door pad, remove all the old fir tree clips, apply double sided tape to the correct areas and reattach the pads to the car. A little tricky in a car nearly 20 years old but the end result, I think, looks great.

Do you think I can convince my other half we could do with more carbon fibre around our house?
