Announcement from Ayr Classic Motorcycle Club tonight -

It is with deep regret that due to unforeseen circumstances and increasing regulatory pressure, the Club has taken the difficult decision to cancel this year's Show which was to be on Sunday 21st June 2026.

Thank you to everyone that has supported the Show over the last 30 plus years.

🏍️ Calling All Classic Bike Owners! 🏍️

Do you own a classic motorcycle that’s 15 years old or older? The Ayr Classic Motorcycle Club is now welcoming entries for the Annual Scottish Classic Motorcycle Show!

📅 Sunday 21st June 2026

You don’t need to be a club member to take part — entry is completely free. All they ask is that your bike is on display between 10am and 4pm.

Whether you ride, restore, or simply appreciate classic motorcycles, everyone is welcome to get involved and help make it a fantastic day for bike enthusiasts across Scotland.

Robert decided to sell his bike so was bikeless...for 2 days!

The bike shaped space in his garage was just too much for him to bear so he popped down and helped himself to this superb Crossrunner with a few tidy extras!

Thanks so much for coming back to MCS for another bike! We really do appreciate it and hope to catch up again soon!

Another day, another stunning GSXS 1000 out the door!

It's Bernard up today picking up this superb machine in the gorgeous sparkle back finish. Thanks to a bit of strange parking he also got a break from the normal photo position!

No wonder too! Graeme bagged himself this gorgeous GSX-S 1000. With its' snarling K5 derived motor, super smooth gearbox comfy riding position and excellent fuel range, it really is the full package!

Who's this dobber? It's Bruce!

Long time friend of the shop, top tier plumber and all round good guy Bruce fancied a bit of a change from his trusty Transalp 750. After a quick test ride on our demo Vstrom 800 DE, he was blown away by the torque available at low revs so that was decision made!

Thanks so much for all the custom and last minute plumbing help and just general help around the shop! We really do appreciate it...ya bellend.

Apologies to anyone in the queue waiting to see their collection photo, currently sitting at 16! We don't normally let anyone skip the queue but this is a special machine!

Fair to say that Margaret is almost undoubtedly the first owner of the new GSX8R in this stunning orange colour to be on the road in Scotland at least! Ever since she saw the colour months ago available in the States she’s been holding off, praying for it to appear in the UK and now her prayers have been answered!

Thanks so much for coming to MCS for your new bike! We really do appreciate it and wish you all the best with this stunning new machine! I'm sure we will catch up again soon!

MCS Monthly Staff Sunday Run 🏍🛵
Sunday 7th June 2026
9:00am meeting for 9.30am departure
Meeting: MCS Shop
49 Main Road, Crookedholm, Kilmarnock KA3 6JT

We will be heading to the Gallie Craig Coffee House, Mull of Galloway, Drummore, Stranraer DG9 9HP before heading to Newton Stewart then heading home via the Galloway Forest.

NB The first re-grouping stop will be at Loch Ryan Car Park and Picnic area and NOT at the Girvan.

As usual this is a 125cc friendly run and you are free to join and leave the run as suits. And if you are new to biking or this is your first time coming on our staff runs - please come fueled up so you are ready to go.

Please also note there may not always be a back marker on these runs.

Our Staff monthly runs are not official events run by MCS Motorcycles but are social rides organized on a voluntary basis by the MCS employees on their Sunday day off.

A tidy new workhorse for Hugh!

As his trusty Honda was starting to show signs that it was on it's last legs after putting in a fair shift, Hugh noticed the massive price cuts on the Suzuki scooter range and picked up this Burgman 125 with it's 10 year warranty!
