The 2018 Audi 2.0 TDI frequently suffers from AdBlue system faults, most commonly caused by urea crystallization blocking the injector, or pump and sensor failures.
Because Audi integrates the pump and sensors into the AdBlue tank, a hardware failure often requires replacing the entire tank assembly, which can be very expensive.
Common Symptoms"No Restart" Countdown: The dashboard displays a range warning (e.g., "AdBlue fault: No engine start in 600 miles").
Disappearing Range: The AdBlue range display on your instrument cluster goes blank or disappears.
Warning Lights: The check engine light and emissions control warning lamps illuminate.
